The Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology was founded in 2014 and is based in Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab, Pakistan.
The university is named after Khwaja Ghulam Fareed, considered to be one of the most famous 19th century Sufi poets, scholars and writers.
Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology offers a wide range of programmes at both undergraduate and graduate level, including: engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, information technology, radiology, clinical psychology, zoology, biochemistry, environmental science and history.
The university publishes the KFUEIT Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences, which is a project of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences. It publishes high quality peer-reviewed research articles in a variety of fields.
There is also a medical centre, a library and hostels for male and female students. As well as a bedroom, students will find a TV room, study hall, mosque, indoor games hall and tuck shop in the hostels.
There are plenty of different sports teams for students including football, athletics and basketball.
