Your personal sphere of play: The Department of Food Chemistry and Toxicology at the Faculty of Chemistry is seeking a senior scientist to lead and manage projects in exposome research. This position in the field of bioanalytical chemistry is dedicated to the development of innovative mass spectrometry-based workflows and data evaluation tools. The developed methods will be applied to address pressing research questions at the edge of environmental/food contaminants and human health. You may work in the framework of large-scale EU projects and are expected to collaborate with national, European, and international partners. In addition to research, this position includes teaching in accordance with the collective agreement, administrative tasks and supervising students. The position is initially limited to 4 years with the option of subsequent permanent employment. Your future tasks: Specifically, you will be involved in research, teaching, and administration. This means: You will develop new analytical or bioinformatic workflows for exposomics You will execute administrative tasks in lab and infrastructure management, research, and teaching.
