We are seeking an outstanding academic at Associate Professor or Professor level to play the pivotal role of leading and developing our new Masters of Physiotherapy program. The successful candidate will provide academic leadership in designing and delivering high-quality, learner-centred and research-informed curricula that influence teaching across the Physiotherapy discipline and, where appropriate, more broadly. Leading teaching teams to ensure an excellent student experience while driving a productive research program that generates high-impact outputs, your expertise in the sector will be invaluable in shaping the workforce of the future. As Associate Professor or Professor of Physiotherapy, you will: Provide strategic leadership of the Physiotherapy program, ensuring accreditation compliance while fostering a collaborative, high-performing teaching environment and excellent student outcomes. Lead innovative, evidence-based curriculum design, delivery, and quality assurance, integrating industry, clinical, and research expertise into inclusive learning experiences. Drive pedagogical scholarship and contribute to broader university strategy, policy, and program development. Supervise and mentor HDR and early-career researchers, and communicate research outcomes to academic, professional, and community audiences. To be successful, you’ll have: A doctoral qualification in Physiotherapy or relevant discipline. Current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. The Role and Department The Role You will work closely with PI Michael Magee to deliver research objectives of the grant proposal CONUREP. This will include research discussions, research, dissemination of research (writing, seminar talks), and active participation within the research group of the PI. The appointee will be expected to perform all the research duties commensurate with the expectations of professional research mathematician, without the responsibilities of teaching. The Role and Department The Department's undergraduate curriculum is notable for its historical and cultural breadth, combining compulsory modules in Theory, Shakespeare and an independent Dissertation, with a range of period-based modules taught by lectures and tutorials, and research-led special topic semininars. There are thriving MA programmes in English Literary Studies and in Creative Writing, and a lively community of PhD students. Applications are invited for a Teaching Fellow in Early Modern Literature. This is a 1.0 FTE position for 12 months only. The successful applicant will: Teach undergraduate tutorials in Introduction to Drama (Level 1) and seminars on John Milton (Level 2). Potentially contribute to Renaissance Literature and/or Shakespeare. Deliver lectures as required in these areas. Supervise Level 3 undergraduate dissertations. Potentially supervise MA theses. Contribute to lively and stimulating small group teaching, in person. Undertake assessment and examination of UG and MA student work, in and beyond Early Modern Literature.
