About the role We are seeking a Donor Relations Manager (DRM) to provide maternity cover during a strategically significant year for our team. This fixed term role will ensure continuity and excellence in the delivery of our well-established donor relations programme at a time when ODAR is about to launch its first institution wide campaign. The DRM will take the lead on managing and delivering a mature, high performing programme of donor stewardship, with a particular focus on project managing key activities to recognise and celebrate our donor community and providing excellent line management to our Donor Relations team. You will ensure that our donor relations strategy continues to run smoothly, maintaining the high standards and personalised approach that underpin our success. Working collaboratively with fundraisers and colleagues across the University, you will oversee the delivery of compelling communications, events and recognition activities that articulate the impact of philanthropy. You will also manage a range of operational processes - from donor data oversight to the creation of bespoke “magic moments” - that contribute to an exceptional donor experience. About you You will be an experienced and confident project manager, capable of taking ownership of a complex, multi‑layered programme and ensuring its seamless delivery. With a passion for delivering an excellent donor (or stakeholder) experience, you will be adept at coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing deadlines and maintaining momentum across a busy annual cycle. You will bring creativity, attention to detail and strong communication skills, along with an enthusiasm for the power of philanthropy and its impact. Description The Research Center on Stability, Instability and Turbulence (SITE) a center of the Research Institute, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Post-Doctoral Associate to work in the fluid mechanics laboratory for experimental fluid dynamics.  SITE is inviting applications for fully-funded postdoctoral research associate positions. SITE is highly interdisciplinary and aims to develop novel enabling technology on hydrodynamic stability analysis that has applications in the study of the development of singularities, the long-time behavior of complex systems, the formation of spatial patterns, the transition between stability and instability, and the first steps of transition towards turbulence that appear in several disciplines across science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and innovation. Candidates must hold (or be close to completing) a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Physics and Applied Physics or a related field. Working in a newly established fluid dynamics laboratory at NYU Abu Dhabi, candidates are expected to have a strong interest in experimental research and collaborate with applied mathematicians closely. The Role The Department of Archaeology at Durham University seeks to appoint a talented researcher to the role of Postdoctoral Research Associate. The successful candidate will have expertise in bioarchaeology, with particular experience in the analysis of infants. They will be responsible for developing digital resources from existing materials to upskill archaeological and forensic science professionals in the excavation and analysis of infant skeletal remains from archaeological and forensic contexts. These resources will contribute towards the Continuing Professional Development of relevant practitioners, as well as provide key learning resources for interested parties. The successful applicant will be expected to work collaboratively with other technical staff to develop and create appropriate resources. The project is led by Dr Claire Hodson and Professor Rebecca Gowland.
