About the Role The Senior Research Dissemination Fellow will support our ongoing work by identifying and optimising the research and dissemination outputs of LifeLab. You will be required to work proactively across the team to understand the range and depth of work undertaken in LifeLab and wider Specialist Centre for Public Health and to prepare quality research outputs for dissemination.  You will have knowledge and experience of research within the public health sector, and to be able to work collaboratively to project delivery dates. You will also be an excellent communicator and able to build relationships both internally and externally. This post is offered on a fixed term (24 months) basis in the School of Healthcare Enterprise & Innovation. As a school we operate hybrid working with an expected minimum of 20% in office. This role is available as a fractional or full-time post. Description The Kamei Reverse Bioengineering Laboratory within the Divisions of Science and Engineering at NYU Abu Dhabi invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Associate position that advances the frontiers of developmental biology and disease modeling. The laboratory integrates stem-cell biology, fluorescence imaging, bioinformatics, and advanced nano- and micro-engineering to decode organogenesis and early embryogenesis, translating these insights into regenerative medicine, drug discovery, and precision therapeutics. The appointed fellow will design and fabricate nano- and micro-engineered platforms that interface with human stem cells, investigate cellular and molecular mechanisms governing development and pathology, lead experiments from conception through publication in high-impact journals, mentor graduate and undergraduate researchers, and contribute to grant writing and interdisciplinary collaborations. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in science, engineering, or a closely related field awarded before the start date, and is within the first five years post-receiving a PhD. Competitive candidates will demonstrate expertise in areas such as device design and fabrication, stem-cell culture and differentiation, high-resolution imaging, single-cell or bulk omics, or bioinformatics, together with a strong publication record, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. Description The Center for Interacting Urban Networks, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Junior Research Scientist to support a set of projects on air pollution and environmental policy in the UAE and globally. These projects include measuring perceptions of and assessing knowledge about air quality, identifying and pursuing strategies to engage with policy makers on environmental issues, and extending efforts in data collection on and public engagement with air quality readings. The successful applicant will contribute to interdisciplinary research centered on these topics. The qualified candidate will have a Masters in the social sciences and experience working on quantitative analysis. This position requires excellent computational and data management skills.
