José Rizal University is a private higher education institution in the Philippines. It was originally established in 1919 as the Far Eastern College School of Accounts and was renamed José Rizal College in 1922 in honour of the Philippine national hero. The institution achieved university status in 2000.
The university is situated in Mandaluyong City, in the National Capital Region of the Philippines, serving students from across Metro Manila and neighbouring regions.
The university actively promotes environmental responsibility across its campus through a range of sustainability initiatives.
