About Istanbul Okan University
Istanbul Okan University is a private university located in Istanbul, Turkey. The university was founded by the Okan Culture, Education and Sports Foundation in 1999, and began operating from its modern Akfırat campus from 2006-2007.
The university offers 63 undergraduate, 41 master, and 13 PhD programmes. It has eight different faculties including dentistry, education, law, business and administration, humanities and social sciences, engineering and natural sciences, health sciences, art, design and architecture, medicine and applied sciences.
In addition to this, the university also has Preparing for Business Life Programme which helps prepare students for their careers right from their first year.
The university has modern classrooms, computer and technical labs, conference halls, workshops, library, fitness centres, a swimming pool, gymnasiums, cafeterias, and restaurants.
Istanbul Okan University has partnerships with institutes like Beijing University, Murray State University and Anadolu University.
