Istanbul Medeniyet University

Founded in 2010, Istanbul Medeniyet University (IMU) is a higher education institution based in the city of Istanbul, Turkey.

IMU is made up of 10 faculties: art, design, and architecture; arts and humanities; dentistry, education sciences, engineering and natural Sciences, Health Sciences, Law, Medicine, Political Sciences and Tourism. There are also four institutes, two graduate schools and 14 research centres.

In addition to their course offering, IMU also offers one year intensive English language education in the School of Foreign Languages.

IMU is made up of a variety of campuses spread across the city. Students will find modern computer labs, a library, dining halls and cafeterias. IMU also has a research and training hospital which started carrying out health services with the Faculty of Medicine.

There are a range of clubs including: drama club, modern dancing club, IMU animal lovers club and literature club. For those with an interest in fitness, there are also sports facilities available.

The university also has partnerships with other universities worldwide offering students the chance to spend a year studying abroad.

These partnerships with universities worldwide have also paved the way for faculty exchange and advanced research opportunities.
