The Islamia College Peshawar was founded in 1913 by The Sir Sayyed of the Frontier, and has since become the mother institution of three universities and several colleges on its campus. Spread across 300 acres, the college is located in Peshawar, in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa area of Pakistan. There are five faculties at the college which include: arts and languages, basic and social sciences, religious and legal studies, natural sciences, and technologies and engineering sciences. Students regularly participate in inter-collegiate sporting championships. Sports offerings include cricket, football, cross country, hockey, lawn tennis and more. The Khyber Union Hall is the hub of student activities on campus, built in 1942, and is responsible for managing the university’s societies such as Islamic culture, law, character building, adventure and hiking, drama, creative art and more.

Corporate Strategy This position involves advanced analysis of corporate-level strategy formulation and implementation, including competitive positioning, diversification, mergers and acquisitions, sustainability, ethical governance and strategic renewal to guide long-term value creation and stakeholder alignment. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Faculty at the University of Nicosia are responsible for delivering high-quality, coordinated teaching and following university academic procedures. They must prepare course outlines that match approved syllabi, work with academic leaders on textbook selection, and use a range of assessment methods to monitor and support student progress. They are also expected to protect exam materials, invigilate exams, follow final examination regulations, keep accurate grade and attendance records, report excessive absences, retain assessed work as required, and submit an end-of-semester online portfolio. In addition to teaching, faculty are expected to support students through advising hours, discussions of exam results, progress evaluation, and recommendation letters. They must also contribute to university life by attending meetings and participating in professional development. Professional conduct is a key expectation, including appropriate appearance, fair and unbiased treatment of students, avoiding political influence in teaching or assessment, and not participating in illegal organizations. Qualifications: A Doctorate Evidence of potential for excellence in teaching, research, publications in international outlets and for a successful academic career. Ability to teach in Greek and/or English Experience: Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in the Higher Education sector. The Vietnamese-German University (VGU) is seeking a highly qualified full-time lecturer in Macroeconomics. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in this field or a closely related field and have a strong background in research. Relevant international experience is of advantage. The successful candidate will become part of an international network of universities and research institutes. Teaching Responsibilities In the role of a lecturer, the successful candidate will teach graduate courses in Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Global Finance and Economics (GFE) programs, and undergraduate courses in Business Administration (BBA) and Finance and Accounting (BFA). The expected workload for the in-class lecture conduction is 08 academic hours per week, totaling 240 academic hours per year (1 academic hour equals to 45 minutes) Teaching should reflect current research methods and results, and comprises lectures on the following modules: Introduction to Economics at the level of texts such as Principles of Economics by Gregory Mankiw (https://www.cengage.com/c/principles-of-economics-8e-Mankiw). Lecturer is invited to propose semi-elective courses within her/his expertise and in line with the curriculum of the programs. The named courses are subject to change upon realistic needs of the programs and joint agreement between the lecturer, relevant Academic Coordinators, and Dean/Vice Dean in charge of teaching. Courses may requires conducting relevant laboratory activities and/or advising student projects. The holder of this job is also responsible for supervising bachelor’s and master’s theses and mentoring PhD students. Research Responsibilities As a faculty member of a research-oriented university, the successful candidate is expected to significantly contribute to the scientific profile of VGU through innovation. This includes and is not limited to comprehensive activities in basic research as well as applied research in the fields of Finance, Economics and Management. The ability to apply and generate externally funded research projects is highly desirable. Administrative responsibilities The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the development of the bachelor and master programs by participating in administrative, marketing and other public activities of the programs in consultation with the Academic Coordinators of the study programs and the German partner university, namely Goethe University Frankfurt. She or he is also expected to contribute actively to the academic self-administration of the Faculty of Economics and Management and university by being willing to stand for election to the Faculty Council, Academic Senate and/or other bodies. Qualification Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Macroeconomics or a closely related field, preferably from a well-known international university. A current title of Professor will be a plus, as experience and understanding of the German higher education system and methodology. Other requirements include An outstanding academic record with a focus on Macroeconomics or other areas closely related to it. Proven expertise in Macroeconomics.  Strong track record of successful research activities and publications in international and peer-reviewed journals in the related area. The School of Modern Languages and Cultures The School of Modern Languages and Cultures (MLAC) at Durham University seeks to appoint a talented individual to the role of Teaching Fellow in Chinese Studies. The appointment will be on a fixed term full-time (1 FTE) basis for twelve months, starting on 1 September 2026, replacing Professor Qing Cao while he undertakes a Leverhulme Research Fellowship. We invite applications for those with research expertise in Chinese Studies, and in particular from candidates with interests in film studies, visual culture and contemporary cultural and literary studies. The post offers an exciting opportunity to make a major contribution to the development of internationally excellent teaching while allowing you the opportunity to progress and embed your career in an exciting and progressive institution. While independent research is not part of the role, the postholder will be able to participate in the School's research community. MLAC is one of the largest and most successful such Schools in the UK and is ranked joint 40th (7th in the UK) in the 2026 QS World Rankings by Subject. It brings together research in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hispanic Studies, Italian, Japanese and Russian Studies. Indeed, translation - understood in its broad sense of transmission, interpretation and circulation of cultural forms, ideas and histories - underpins the School's collective practices. The Role Applications are invited for a Teaching Fellow in Chinese Studies. The post is at 1 FTE for a fixed term of 12 months, beginning on 1 September 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. As the post is funded by a Leverhulme Trust award, we do not anticipate that it will be extended beyond this fixed term. The successful applicant will have excellent Chinese and English language skills (L1 language proficiency or near-equivalent in both cases), as well as research expertise and teaching experience in Chinese Studies. You should be able to teach aspects of Chinese cinema, film, visual culture, and contemporary literary and cultural studies. You will be fully integrated in the Chinese Studies team within Durham University's School of Modern Languages and Cultures and you will be expected to contribute to the delivery of teaching on the BA in Chinese Studies and other relevant undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as appropriate, to include curriculum development, the convening of modules, and all aspects of assessment. Teaching Fellowships offer the opportunity of valuable experience to those early in their academic careers. Th e post of Teaching Fellow will involve a significant teaching load, which may extend into the summer period, and there may be related scholarship and the opportunity for administrative duties which relate to education and pedagogy. The post is for a fixed term only, and it is not anticipated that the post will be extended beyond this fixed term.
