About the role: Operating within Thomas More Law School, the Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor provides academic leadership and specialist expertise to support the effective delivery, quality, and ongoing development of the Graduate Diploma in Migration Law. The role contributes to teaching, curriculum design, accreditation compliance, and student learning in a professionally regulated program that prepares graduates for migration advice practice. The position strengthens the school's capacity to meet sector standards, respond to regulatory changes, and maintain a high quality, mission aligned postgraduate offering. At Level C, the role focuses on advanced teaching, unit coordination, and scholarly contribution. At Level D, the position additionally provides strategic leadership for the program, including oversight of curriculum renewal, external engagement, research development, and academic governance. The positions are situated within the research fields of computational thinking and AI literacy. The dissertations will focus on computer science education, with an emphasis on the empirical investigation of teaching and learning processes related to fundamental computational ways of thinking and acting, such as problem-solving processes, abstraction, modeling and pattern recognition as well as the understanding, application and reflection on artificial intelligence. A central research environment is the Computer Science Teaching and Learning Lab, where teaching and learning scenarios are developed, tested, empirically investigated and further refined in both school and university contexts. Candidates will contribute to industry-relevant research in embodied AI, simulation and digital twins, cybersecurity, robot operations and related areas, with a strong emphasis on translation into real-world applications. Through collaborations with leading robot companies and end-users, faculty will help solve practical deployment challenges, build shared digital infrastructure, and train the next generation of robotics talent for Singapore’s future economy. Responsibilities: Lead and contribute to applied research projects with industry partners and government agencies. Develop and teach Robotics and Embodied AI courses within the cluster’s programmes and across relevant interdisciplinary modules.
