Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role We are seeking a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Organisational Psychology, with the level of appointment reflecting your experience and track record. You will teach across the organisational psychology curriculum, supervise postgraduate students, and build a research programme that connects with the School’s strength in well-being at work. We are especially keen to hear from candidates with expertise in selection and assessment, leadership and change, and training and development. Progression across the two levels is marked by stronger teaching, greater research impact and leadership, and a growing contribution to academic life. While many core responsibilities are consistent across Lecturer to Professor levels, progression in the role is marked by the delivery of teaching at an increasingly high standard, greater impact and leadership in research, and a growing contribution to academic governance. This includes advancing your discipline through recognised scholarship, fostering student success, and providing leadership within the University and the wider academic community. Salary will be in the range of $92,603 to $110,407 for a Lecturer or $113,428 to $148,799 for a Senior Lecturer, per year based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. The full-time positions will be filled for a fixed-term period of 3 years and are connected to Tampere University’s FutureChips Postdoctoral Programme and focus on fundamental technology and methods development for next-generation semiconductor technologies.  The programme’s four interconnected semiconductor research areas are:  Advanced compound materials and heterostructures  Novel architectures  Chip design  Advanced packaging The positions will be located in the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences or in the Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences.  Job description  The successful candidate will design, coordinate and implement their own research and publish results in high-impact venues.  Research scope  The postdoctoral research fellow will develop semiconductor technologies and the relevant knowledge base.  Research environment and infrastructure  Tampere University offers an excellent environment for semiconductor integration research, including strong capabilities spanning photonics, chip-level fabrication, advanced packaging, and system-level demonstrators. Job Description NUS seeks to appoint a globally recognised scientific leader to serve as Director of the Advanced Electron Microscopy Facility, a flagship, university-level platform integrating state-of-the-art capabilities across materials science and life sciences. The Director will shape the facility into a globally leading centre for atomic-scale imaging and analysis, driving both frontier research and national-level capabilities. The Advanced Electron Microscopy Facility is a newly established university-level microscopy facility at NUS combining the state-of-the-art Electron and Scanning Tunnelling Microscopes for both the materials and life sciences. It is a centralised shared facility serving the research community at NUS, in Singapore, and beyond. It enables high-resolution 3D structure determination (CryoEM, FIB-SEM) and materials characterisation (such as AC-EM and STM). The facility aims to provide researchers with a unique competitive edge and students with excellent education and training opportunities. Driven by research of its members, it aims at being a world-leading research facility in Materials Science EM and Life Science cryoEM. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and direction to position the facility as a hub for large-scale international collaborations and flagship programmes. Set appropriate medium- and long-term research directions aligned with the facilities. Lead large, multi‑year research programmes by setting scientific directions and coordinating stakeholders. Set clear targets and user satisfaction measures. Develop the facility roadmap for future upgrades, new platforms, and capacity planning. Develop cost-recovery models (set internal/external rates), manage budgets and procurement. Ensure compliance with laboratory safety requirements and all NUS policies. Implement good data management practices. Qualifications NUS seeks to hire an outstanding research leader with strong relevant experience, possibly integrating material and life sciences EM.
