Liverpool John Moores University is looking to recruit a Training Coordinator to support its Natural Capital Hub. We are looking for applicants who have experience in coordinating training activities and working with multiple cross sector stakeholders. The role will support Natural Capital Hub to deliver the National Lottery Heritage Fund funded Nature Towns and Cities project Bigger Better More Joined Up, Our Nature Our LCR. The project is led by the LCR Combined Authority. The Natural Capital Hub is a research and knowledge exchange group working to deliver solutions for embedding natural capital approaches. The Hub works with a range of partners including government departments and agencies, local government, landowners, and conservation organisations on nationally and regionally significant projects. The Hub is a key part of the Universities' pan university institute Liverpool Research Institute for Climate and Sustainability (LiRICS). The Natural Capital Hub Training Coordinator support the LJMU Natural Capital Hub’s contribution to the Liverpool City Region's Nature Towns and City Project - Bigger Better, More Joined Up, Our Nature, Our LCR. Through the project LJMU’s Natural Capital Hub aim to support capacity building to support an integrated and cross sector approach to nature recovery. You will support the coordination, design, and delivery of training and learning activities that enhance understanding and application of natural capital, integrated nature recovery and engagement with nature. Working closely with partners and project stakeholders, the Training Coordinator will support the development of training materials, organise workshops and events, and support the effective transfer of knowledge across the region. You will also help to identify accreditation and resource opportunities and support development of sustainable models for training. Job Description SCHOOL OF CONTINUING EDUCATION Lecturer I / II (Division of Nursing Education) (25260661) The School of Continuing Education, one of the seven Faculties/Schools of the University and a major provider of continuing and professional education in Hong Kong, offers a wide range of full-time and part-time programmes at the post-secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate levels for young learners and working adults. It also offers in-house training and short courses to meet the community needs and market demands. Operated on a self-financed basis, the School and its College of International Education currently employ about 400 full-time staff and 550 part-time instructors. The School is inviting applications for the following position: The School invites applications for Lecturer I/II posts. The appointee will contribute to the undergraduate and master’s nursing programmes in teaching as well as academic and departmental administrative duties. Applicants should possess a master’s degree (preferably a doctoral degree) in the relevant discipline and a valid Registered Nurse Practicing Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong with a minimum of 3 years’ post-registration local clinical experience. Preferences will be given to those with higher academic qualifications and relevant teaching experience in tertiary education sector. The expectation and job duty requirements will be in line with the appointed grade. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract ending in August 2027. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Join the Department of Psychological Sciences in 2026 Full-time, ongoing position at our Hawthorn campus Academic Level C/D + 17% super and staff benefits About the Role We are seeking an outstanding academic to join our Department of Psychological Sciences within as a Senior Lecturer (Level C) or Associate Professor (Level D) to contribute and provide academic and professional leadership across Swinburne’s psychology programs, with a particular focus on advancing high-quality teaching, professional training, and research within the Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental Psychology) and other postgraduate psychology courses. In this role, you will contribute to or lead excellence in teaching through evidence-based pedagogy; curriculum innovation; clinical supervision; and the ongoing development and delivery of the Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental Psychology). You will contribute to internal and external accreditation processes and support staff capability building, promote high-quality and consistent learning experiences for students, and contribute to Departmental and School initiatives and strategic priorities. As the Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor, you will also be expected to lead an innovative and impactful research program. This will include producing high-quality scholarly outputs, supervising HDR students and developing and managing industry partnerships that strengthen the Department’s and School’s research profile.
