Established in 2010, the Instituto Superior Politécnico do Moxico is a public higher education institution based in Luena, the capital of Moxico province, Angola. It was created to expand higher education opportunities in the region.
Initially, the institute offered courses through two departments: health, with nursing and clinical laboratory programmes, and education, providing degrees in mathematics, physics, chemistry and geography teaching. 
In 2011, the Department of Technical Sciences and Engineering was introduced, offering computer science courses, and in 2012, accounting and administration programmes were added, bringing the total number of undergraduate courses to eight. At this time, the institute had approximately 1,400 students.
In 2021, the Instituto Superior Politécnico do Moxico gained autonomy.
The institute aims to lead in professional training and scientific research within Moxico, building partnerships that support regional and national development.

The Role:

We are seeking to appoint an academic or practitioner to contribute to the teaching and learning in the area of Sport Business (particularly in the area of sports analytics or sports technology). You will have sport business industry experience within the Sport Business industry.

What we are looking for:


	Ability to teach Sport Business, preferably in the area of sports analytics or sports technology, at undergraduate level in relevant lectures, tutorials and seminars.
	Experience of teaching at undergraduate level or delivering professional training.
	Evidence of knowledge and practical experience in sport analytics/technology
	An active interest in women’s sport and the application of quantitative research methods to contemporary sport business issues (desirable).
	A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field

About the opportunity


	Contribute to teaching programs, research, research supervision and engagement activities, as appropriate to the level of appointment.
	Teach into the Law School’s JD offerings and may be required to teach into the Law School’s undergraduate majors and masters offerings.
	Add strength to the existing academic team in a range of areas, such as criminal law, corporations’ law, legal interpretation, taxation law, trusts, employment law, ethics, procedure, professional practice, Australian consumer protection law, and mining law.


About you

Lecturer


	Completion of an LLB or a JD, and completion or significant progress towards a PhD in Law or equivalent doctoral qualification in a relevant field. For Lecturer (Level B) positions, other professional qualifications and substantial relevant professional experience may be considered where appropriate.
	Ability to deliver innovative teaching approaches, assessments and materials for units and courses within the JD degree and other units within the Law School’s offerings.
	Ability to conduct excellent scholarly research and publication that is consistent with the broad research aims of the Law School, independently and/or in collaboration with others
	An emerging research profile, relative to opportunity.
	Demonstrated ability to relate well to staff and students at all levels, and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.


Senior Lecturer

Your place of work:

The Faculty of Psychology at the University of Vienna comprises the Dean's Office, a Student Service Center, four institutes, and the Outpatient Unit for Research, Teaching and Practice. 

Your future position is based with the new Professorship of clinical-psychological intervention research (Prof. Dr. Johanna Böttcher), which will be established in October 2026 at the Institute for Clinical and Health Psychology. The research group investigates innovative digital interventions for mental disorders and psychological distress. Your future tasks:

You will be responsible for and oversee the development of a digital intervention platform that enables the conduct and evaluation of clinical studies with diverse populations. The platform uses the open-source DIRECT platform as its own instance (https://www.ewi-psy.fu-berlin.de/psychologie/einrichtungen/cmhds/direct/index.html)and is intended to be available to all psychology departments.

Your responsibilities include:


	You communicate with the developers of the DIRECT platform as well as with the DIRECT community (researchers and programmers).
	You analyze, manage, and consolidate the platform requirements of the various departments.
	You plan necessary adjustments and enhancements to the platform, commission them, and oversee the development process.
	You are responsible for hosting, maintenance, and support for the live platform.
	You analyze the regulatory framework (e.g., data protection, medical device law) and incorporate it into the planning, consultation, and implementation of research projects on the DIRECT platform.
	You plan data exports and analyses of usage data.
	You participate in research projects and publications.
	You assist with project proposals and the acquisition of third-party funding.
	You give presentations at national and international scientific conferences.
	You participate in and independently conduct courses in accordance with the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement.
	You participate in evaluation measures and quality assurance.
	You supervise students.

	Completed doctoral/PhD degree in psychology, medicine, behavioral sciences, public health, human-computer interaction, or related fields.
