We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Project Executive to oversee and execute key operational and project-related activities. This role requires expertise in food technology and manufacturing processes to ensure seamless operations, compliance with safety and quality standards, and effective client engagement. The ideal candidate will also contribute to continuous process improvement, training, and resource management to support the organization's objectives. About FoodPlant FoodPlant is Singapore’s first shared facility for small-batch food production. We support SMEs and startups in developing and scaling up new food products. FoodPlant provides access to advanced food processing technologies, expert guidance and industrial equipment. With SFA licensing and ISO certifications, we empower businesses through R&D, pilot production, and commercial manufacturing on a pay-per-use model. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Coordination and Client Engagement Lead or participate in project discussions with customers, ensuring proper assessment of Food Safety and Occupational Safety and Health risks. Establish and maintain all necessary project documentation and compliance records. Conduct briefings and training sessions on equipment, processes, and site requirements for customers and visitors. 2. Operational Supervision and Execution Supervise or execute operations in designated rooms, ensuring compliance with established requirements. Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues during operations. Conduct pre-run preparation and post-run cleaning to maintain operational efficiency and hygiene. 3. Quality and Compliance Maintain accurate records for identification and traceability of projects and operations. Ensure cleanliness of equipment and facilities, performing verification activities according to scheduled timelines. Develop mastery of machine capabilities and operational knowledge to optimize performance. 4. Process Improvement and Resource Management Engage in exploratory work, problem-solving, and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Procure and maintain sufficient resources such as packaging materials, cleaning chemicals, consumables, and stationery to support day-to-day operations. 5. Training and Workshop Support Plan and execute training courses, workshops, and seminars to support food companies and foster industry innovation. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology, Chemical Process, or a related discipline. 2-5 years of experience in Research and Development or Manufacturing processes, particularly with UHT/HTST, spray drying, extrusion, retort processing, freeze drying, and similar technologies. Key Competencies Skills and Attributes: Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and task management. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams. Technical proficiency and hands-on expertise in equipment and processes. Note: The hire will be given a "Research Engineer" designation.

Introduction As a University of Applied Learning, the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) collaborates actively with industry in our research work. We seek a motivated candidate who is keen on rigorous research, the practical applications of code exfiltration and reverse engineering as well as security penetration testing. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver on an industry innovation research project where you will be part of a research team to investigate and determine potentially critical Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) drone system vulnerabilities impacting confidentiality, integrity and availability. Key Responsibilities Participate in the research project with Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PIs and research team members to ensure all project deliverables are met. Undertake or help guide work and demonstrations in the following tasks: Code exfiltration and binary reverse engineering. Study, understand and analyse mobile platform applications. Android app reverse engineering (Drone apps) Static and Dynamic analysis(experience in tools like Frida, Burp, Wireshark) Develop AI-assisted agents for automated firmware analysis and exploration Build a controlled firmware-replica environment for evaluating protocol security Design, develop and test control augmentation techniques. Adaptation of developed techniques for more generic use. Perform project documentation and crafting of research papers. Carry out Risk Assessment, and ensure compliance with Work, Safety and Health Regulations. Work independently, as well as within a team, to ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment.  Job Requirements A good degree in Computer Science / Engineering or higher. Proficiency with code exfiltration and reverse engineering. Proficiency with penetration testing techniques and tools. Proficiency with software scripting and development work on desktop and / or mobile platforms. Key Competencies Self-directed learner who believes in continuous learning and development. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in marine ecology, marine biology, biogeochemistry, geochemistry, environmental science, or a related discipline. They should have strong research experience in field-based marine ecology, including leading or coordinating marine or coastal fieldwork, and demonstrated experience with stable isotope analyses and related data analyses in ecological or biogeochemical contexts. A track record of question-driven research, as evidenced by publications or other research outputs commensurate with career stage, is expected. The successful candidate should have excellent communication, organizational and collaborative skills, and be able to work both independently and within an interdisciplinary team. The appointee will join an active research group at SWIMS and SBS working at the interface of marine ecology and conservation, with a particular focus on stable isotope approaches. They will contribute to the design, implementation and analysis of research projects on marine ecology and biogeochemistry using stable isotope tools, conduct and coordinate fieldwork in marine and coastal ecosystems, and carry out sample collection, processing and laboratory analyses. They will lead data analysis and contribute to the preparation of manuscripts, reports and grant proposals. The appointee will oversee junior research staff and research assistants, and will contribute to the supervision and mentoring of students involved in related projects. Example research focal areas such as trophic ecology, blue carbon ecosystems, and human impacts on coastal ecosystems are welcome, as are other innovative ideas that complement and extend existing work within SWIMS and SBS. The appointee will have opportunities to develop their own research agenda and to pursue new methods or interdisciplinary collaborations within the broader SWIMS and MSc environment. The appointee will be expected to contribute to research-led teaching and training associated with an MSc programme in marine ecology and conservation, through involvement in appropriate teaching activities, mentoring of MSc students and support for field- and project-based learning, as agreed with the programme leadership. They will be required to work at both the SWIMS facilities and on the main HKU campus and at field sites in Hong Kong and surrounding waters. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
