Instituto Superior de Ciências da Educação da Huíla began life in 1980, as a department of Agostinho Neto University, in the capital city of Luanda. In 2009, it became an autonomous higher-education institution, moving to the city of Lubango, in South-Western Angola.
ISCED-Huila is the oldest of the teacher-training institutions in Angola. It offers 13 degrees at undergraduate level, including pedagogy and educational computing, as well as most other high-school curriculum subjects.
ISCED-Huila publishes its own academic journal, Revista Cientifica do ISCED-Huila, examining teaching methodologies and issues of teaching and learning.

The Faculty of Law (FLL) invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in the area of Global Legal Studies, with a particular focus on Legal Artificial Intelligence.

The Faculty of Law of University of Macau is the oldest law school in Macao and plays a very important role in preparing jurists who are familiar with Macao S.A.R. legal system, as well as, educating jurists who are competent in legal research and practices in Macau law, international law, comparative law and law and technology. Qualifications

Applicants must hold a PhD in Law or Computer Science. Candidates with a doctoral degree in Law should demonstrate a strong research record in the field of legal artificial intelligence. Candidates with a PhD in Computer Science are expected to have substantial research and development experience specifically related to legal AI. Preference will be given to applicants who have teaching or research experience in legal artificial intelligence and can provide compelling evidence of outstanding research accomplishments. Such evidence should include publications in internationally recognized, peer-reviewed journals and conferences.

The selected candidate is expected to assume duty in 2026.

Remuneration

A taxable annual remuneration starting from MOP855,400 (approximately USD105,600) will be commensurate with the successful applicants’ academic qualification and relevant professional experience. The current local maximum income tax rate is 12% but is effectively around 5% - 7% after various discretionary exemptions. We are seeking an Associate Lecturer/ Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer (Level A/ B/ C) in the discipline of OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY who has experience and expertise in Occupational / Work Rehabilitation and is enthusiastic to advance health education for the next generation of occupational therapists and progress research to improve health outcomes in all communities. The incumbent will be committed to make significant contribution to teaching and learning and engage in educational leadership within their School/ Faculty. This is a continuing 40% (teaching), 40% (research), and 20% (service) position, and offers an opportunity to develop and contribute to research and teaching in occupational therapy as part of a multi-disciplinary team at the Faculty of Medicine and Health.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

Level A: 


	Conduct research or scholarly activity, independently or as part of a team, contributing to discipline knowledge.

About you (selection criteria)


	A degree in occupational therapy (Level A)
	PHD / post graduate qualifications in the discipline of occupational therapy or relevant field
	strong or developing research profile evidenced by original, high-quality research.
	clinical experience as an occupational therapist in occupational/ work rehabilitation
	eligibility for registration with AHPRA Australia or existing registration with AHPRA is desirable
	proven experience in supervising and mentoring students
	experience in teaching and learning, as evidenced by participation in team teaching and teaching in a variety of settings
	demonstrated success in designing, implementing and evaluating teaching and learning initiatives
	experience in supervising or mentoring others and/or coordinating team activities
	a developing knowledge and understanding of the key strategic issues in the discipline and higher education sector.


In addition, level C must:


	Proven reputation at a national level as influential in expanding knowledge, pedagogical or curriculum innovation
	an established network of academic, industry and professional partners and stakeholders
	developed knowledge and understanding of the key strategic issues in the discipline and higher education sector
	significant experience conducting original research and engaging in scholarly activity.

Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will be expected to teach courses offered in postgraduate programmes related to monetary policy, and/or quantitative research. 	Serve as the process lead engineer in both design, engineering and testing of Pyrolysis Reactor Systems 
	Involve in developing the process control narrative 
	To generate project specifications, design philosophy, PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, operation manuals to comply with clients’ requirement 
	To carry out process simulations and develop heat and material balances 
	To carry out hydraulic design for pumps, compressors, blowers and develop respective process datasheets 
	To check design outputs, datasheets and drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness to design requirements and concepts 
	Involve in sizing the process instrument, pump and control philosophy 
	Experience in downstream gas cleaning processes with real experiences operating a plant 
	Knowledge in tar/PAH removal and separation 
	Prepare and deliver various engineering related presentations, both internally and externally 
	Support the R&D Team 
	Knowledge in skid module base and PLCs programming will be highly preferred 
	Possess good Solid-works skillset and/or ASPEN HYSYS/3D simulations expertise

	Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Thermal, Mechanical, Environmental or related disciplines). 
	Work experience in similar industries.

Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)

Applicants are invited for a Research Fellow position to investigate microbially-mediated power-to-methane systems.

You will develop continuous laboratory and pilot-scale systems for biological production of methane at high concentrations through modification of conventional anaerobic digestion processes. The research is intended to design scalable reactors for such systems, assess the optimum conditions and the performance limitations and develop real-time process control strategies, in collaboration with other project partners.

You must demonstrate a sound understanding of anaerobic digestion and CO2 biomethanisation, coupled with a good knowledge of quantitative analytical techniques and bioreactor kinetic models. A hands-on approach and strong skills in experimental rig design and process operation & control are essential, along with a keen interest in developing new ideas from proof-of-principle to implementation.

You must have a PhD or equivalent professional qualifications and experience in environmental or chemical engineering or biotechnology.
