Position Overview As the Director of Learning Innovation and Student Success for Daskalos, you will play a critical and strategic role in launching and scaling international branch campuses of globally accredited universities in India. This senior leadership position bridges the gap between traditional global academic frameworks and real-world execution. The ideal candidate will possess a future-oriented educational mindset, blending a deep understanding of 21st-century skill frameworks with data-driven methodologies to drive student outcomes, career readiness, and long-term student success across our partner institutions. Core Responsibilities Strategic Roadmapping: Collaborate closely with academic leaders at each international branch campus to design and execute a comprehensive roadmap of co-curricular and extra-curricular experiential learning. SME Mobilization: Identify, engage, and onboard master practitioners and industry Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to run high-impact experiential learning programs across multiple campuses. Outcome Optimization: Establish robust frameworks to measure student outcomes, building an institutional culture of continuous improvement and evidence-based refinement. Required Experience & Background Professional Experience: 8–10 years of relevant, progressive experience running experiential learning programs. Institutional Context: Proven track record within large, multi-campus, multi-disciplinary higher education institutions or premier management institutes. Key Competencies & Attributes 1. Description The Instructional Designer (Teaching & Learning Innovation) works in close partnership with the Teaching and Learning Specialist and faculty and academic staff to design, implement, and evaluate innovative teaching and assessment practices. The role supports the thoughtful integration of AI and other emerging technologies as part of a broader effort to enhance student learning and advance discipline-specific thinking. Central to the role is ensuring that technology is used in ways that complement and augment, rather than replace, student learning, motivation, and intellectual effort. Grounded in evidence-based teaching and learning principles, this position focuses on translating pedagogical strategies into practical course designs, assignments, and assessments that strengthen foundational skills, critical thinking, and student engagement. The role emphasizes hands-on collaboration with faculty to pilot new approaches, adapt assignments and assessments in response to evolving learning contexts, and develop scalable models of instructional innovation. The Instructional Designer for Learning Innovation reports to the Director of the Hilary Ballon Center for Teaching and Learning. The Hilary Ballon Center for Teaching and Learning (HBCTL) partners with faculty, academic staff, and collaborators across NYU Abu Dhabi to advance inclusive, innovative, and evidence-informed teaching that supports student learning, belonging, and success. Through support for faculty innovation in the classroom, interdisciplinary exchange, teaching communities, and the scholarship of teaching and learning, HBCTL fosters reflective teaching practice and advances pedagogical approaches that respond to evolving educational challenges and emerging technologies within a global liberal arts context. Key Responsibilities 1. Description The Division of Science at NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) invites applications for tenured/tenure-track open-rank faculty positions within its Computer Science Program.
