Institut Mines-Télécom Business School (IMT Business School) was formerly known as INT Management at its foundation in 1979 until 2009 and then Telecom Business School until 2018. It is based in Évry-Courcouronnes, in the southern suburbs of Paris, France. IMT Business School, is part of Institut Mines-Telecom, which is composed of 12 engineering schools and one business school. The business school was initially founded in 1979 as the corporate university of Orange Group, the first telecom operator in France. While IMT Business School is now fully independent from Orange, this hybrid approach between business and education is still seen within its study offerings today. The school offers programmes taught in both French or English, from bachelor level all the way to PhD. Its main programme is the master's in management programme however students can go on to specialise in subjects like digital marketing and data protection management. On campus, students will find modern accommodation. Each room has a full bath, refrigerator, closet, small furnishings and a high-speed, broadband connection. Kitchen and laundry facilities are situated on the ground floor of each building and are common to all students. There’s also co-working spaces, a library, restaurants and cafeterias, language laboratories and a sports centre complete with a beach volleyball pitch and street workout facilities. Students at IMT Business School can join over 60 different student associations and clubs covering a wide range of activities: sports, culture, entertainment, economics, charities, science and technology. IMT Business School has established relationships with 120 universities around the world, carrying out various exchange activities such as academic exchanges, scientific research cooperation and the opportunity for students to study abroad. Students can get a dual degree all while becoming familiar with other cultures and approach to business.

Your workplace: As a Senior Lecturer, you will primarily teach in the area of digitalization. You will play a key role in introducing students to the fundamentals of digitalization in (International) Business Administration. This includes programming and analytics courses, for example in the fields of Business Analytics, the use of Artificial Intelligence, and relevant software and programming tools for applications in economics and business studies. Your teaching portfolio will also include the critical application of analytics and AI methods in business research, particularly in seminar papers, bachelor’s theses, and master’s theses. The full-time position (40 hours/week) includes a teaching load of an average of 14 semester hours per week of academic teaching. This comprises both large and small course formats covering the above-mentioned foundational topics of digitalization in economics and business studies, AI competency courses for the preparation of academic work, the teaching of bachelor seminars, and the supervision of master’s theses (in accordance with the statutes of the University of Vienna). Close integration with the introductory and advanced digitalization modules of the degree programmes in Business Administration, International Business Administration, and Economics is intended. Your future tasks: You will independently teach courses, primarily at the bachelor’s level, but also at the master’s level. You will actively contribute to the (further) development of teaching and examination formats in the field of digitalization for (International) Business Administration. Continuous engagement with the current state of technology and research, as well as ongoing didactic training during lecture-free periods, is expected. In addition, the role includes administrative responsibilities, particularly in the administration and coordination of teaching. Job Purpose At SIT's Professional Officers Division, we bring our rich industry experience and technical skills into our work, creating a better physical environment where learning and innovation take place. A Professional Officer has a combination of job responsibilities relating to the following: participate in and manage innovation projects, manage digital technology related resources, and mentor & facilitate student learning. The Centre for Digital Enablement (CoDE) drives the initiatives to elevate digital competencies for academic staff and students within SIT. It works with various stakeholders, both internal and external, in upskilling digital literacy across the organization through literacy programmes and digital innovation projects in relation to the Digital Learning Spaces (DLS). For this role, you will spearhead the various cybersecurity enablement programmes in SIT, manage the cybersecurity related resources and initiatives within CoDE, and lead cybersecurity projects within SIT and with industry partners to support teaching and learning objectives. You will also be responsible for developing and delivering digital literacy courses to undergraduate students and academic staff as part of the institutional drive to ensure our graduates are ready for a highly digitally-enabled workforce. Additionally, you’ll be required to mentor and facilitate student learning by participating in and managing student projects. Key Responsibilities Cybersecurity Enablement Programmes Develop and own the Cybersecurity Competency Roadmap, providing guidance for SIT undergraduate students and academic staff in developing their cybersecurity competencies. Lead and oversee a range of cybersecurity enablement programmes to facilitate the growth of information security skills among SIT undergraduate students and academic staff. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cybersecurity, ensuring the continued relevancy and currency of the enablement programmes and Cybersecurity Competency Roadmap. Cybersecurity Projects Drive the adoption of sound information security practices across all CoDE projects. Collaborate with industry partners, faculty, Professional Officers and other stakeholders to conduct applied research in cybersecurity related technologies. Teaching & Student Mentorship Develop and deliver digital skills literacy related courses or workshops to undergraduate students and staff. This includes development of learning contents and activities, providing consultations on digital skills/technology related queries, and assessment and grading of students’ work. Mentor and facilitate student learning by participating in and managing student projects. Any other matters as directed by Director/Deputy Director of CoDE. Job Requirements A good degree in Computer Science or a related field. Masters, PhD and/or relevant professional certifications would be advantageous. 10+ years of working experience, including at least 5 in cybersecurity related fields. Proven experience in developing and deploying secure enterprise software solutions. Good programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, etc. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Possess strong supervisory and project management skills. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently, as well as within a team, to ensure that the project can meet the milestones adhering to the stipulated timeline. Enjoy working closely with students in an educational environment. Demonstrate proficiency to keep abreast of development in the field and pursue professional certification programs.

The Faculty of Law invites applications for a fixed term employment contract for a postdoctoral researcher from 01.08.2026 to 31.7.2028, funded by the Research Council of Finland. The position is a fixed-term contract for 2 years, with a possibility for a 1-year extension. The postdoctoral researcher will develop their own research in relation to international law and transformation in the global economy, associated with Dr. René Urueña’s professorship in international law. This work will include: developing single-authored peer-reviewed journal articles and co-authoring and/or editing academic work with the project PI and collaborators undertaking research in law, history, science and technology studies, and other relevant disciplines organizing and participating in international conference panels participating in the organization of workshops and seminars/conferences public outreach activities teaching/co-teaching and supervision of undergraduate students contributing to the research community within the Faculty of Law Requirements for the position and assessment of qualifications According to the Regulations of the University of Helsinki, an appointee to the position of postdoctoral researcher shall hold a relevant doctoral degree and have the ability to conduct independent scholarly work as well as the teaching skills necessary for the position. PhD diploma is to be acquired by the first day of employment. The working language is English. The period following the completion of doctoral degree must not exceed five years, excluding family leave and equivalent periods of absence. To fulfil the research requirements of the position, the applicant chosen is expected to live in Helsinki, be physically present on a regular basis and participate actively in the research and teaching activities of the research project.
