Established in August 2015, the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Tirupati is the sixth IISER institute created by the Government of India. It is located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India, with activities starting at a transit campus with the permanent campus under development. It is near the Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati, encouraging collaboration.
The institute offers a five-year BS-MS dual degree programme integrating undergraduate and postgraduate education in basic sciences. The curriculum is flexible and research-driven, preparing students for careers in science through classroom teaching and hands-on research, interdisciplinary projects, leadership and community engagement.
Facilities include laboratories, research infrastructure and a residential campus supporting holistic development. Students benefit from comprehensive library services, campus-wide internet and academic support. We are seeking to recruit an experienced and motivated Information and Reporting Officer to join the Awards section of the Registry Services Team. This role is part of a team that supports the delivery of key business processes relating to assessment and examinations, progression, awards, certification and graduation.

You will have specific responsibility for supporting the institutional examinations process and be required to liaise with Faculties, Professional Service Teams and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication across the institution to support the efficient delivery of the examination processes.

Working both independently and as part of a wider team, you will be responsible for managing a complex workload working with large data sets, meeting strict deadlines and maintaining a consistently high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of guidance and training on examination and awards processes, support project activity, and represent Registry Services within cross-University working groups.

Experience of administrative work within higher education is required. Experience of delivering customer orientated services is essential, alongside excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should be able to demonstrate good evaluation and problem solving skills and will be required to work closely with all the teams within the department but also to work/act on your own initiative. This is a busy department with lots of conflicting demands so the ability to work well under pressure is essential.

About the position

La Trobe University is seeking an exceptional strategic leader to join the Research Office as Associate Director, Research Development & Grants. Reporting to the Executive Director, Research Strategy and Operations, this pivotal role will lead the University's research grant development function and play a key role in delivering the University's Research and Innovation 2030 Strategy.

Leading a team that operates university-wide, the successful candidate will drive sustainable growth in external research income through the development of strategic funding pipelines, researcher capability programs and innovative grant development frameworks.
