The person appointed will have a proven record of teaching, research and publication, appropriate to career stage, as well as appropriate experience in the field. They will be expected to make a strong contribution to the teaching programme of the Department and undertake teaching duties on the Department’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as well as the supervision of Master’s students. You will be the ‘face’ of the University, dealing with everything from a student locked out of their room to crisis & emergency management, ensuring the campus is a safe environment for everyone, offering support and advice. Working hours for this role are pre-assigned “4 on, 4 off” shift patterns to support our 24/7 service. You will be expected to work 2 days then 2 nights for each “4 on” cycle.
