Description The Center for Behavioral Institutional Design, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit several postdoctoral researchers interested in exploring the origins of human behavioral diversity, developing empirically-informed models of human behavior, and designing innovative institutions and policies for promoting social welfare. Description The Khalil laboratory in the Center for Smart Engineering Materials, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Junior Research Scientist to work on the design and deployment of porous materials for water remediation applications. The successful applicant will work on the development and application of covalent organic frameworks (COFs) for water remediation. The successful candidate will join a young yet highly energetic team dedicated to leveraging chemistry, reaction engineering, and manufacturing principles to address pressing challenges in the water sector. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists and undergraduate students. The appointed research assistant will conduct independent research on COF materials, focusing on their synthesis, characterization, and practical application. Key responsibilities include designing frameworks, experiments, and publishing high-quality research.
