The Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences is a technological university located in Hungary. The university was formed in 2000 following the merger of several smaller institutions.
It is located in the town of Gödöllő about 30km from the Hungarian capital city of Budapest. There are other, smaller campuses located in Budapest, Békéscsaba, Gyula, Jászberény, and Szarvas.
There are eight faculties at the university including agricultural and environmental sciences; agricultural and economics studies; economics and social sciences; food science; horticultural science; landscape and architectural urbanism; mechanical engineering and architecture and civil engineering.
