We currently have positions available from Lecturer to Associate Professor. Successful candidates will also be actively involved in embedding the teaching of specific academic writing, speaking and workplace communication skills in content modules across academic years and undergraduate programmes in different disciplines. CPC faculty are expected to develop and update curriculum through applied research in communication in the disciplines. They are also provided with paid leave to undertake consultancy work with industry and/or conduct courses for in-employment learners. We seek collegiate and team-spirited candidates who have corporate people management experience with thought leadership in professional communication and/or corporate training experience in professional communication. Candidates should possess at least a Master’s degree or an earned PhD or equivalent from a reputable university with specialisation related to academic and/or professional communication. The role We are seeking a dynamic Strategic Research Development Manager to join our friendly and ambitious RII team. The post holder will work closely with the University’s academic community and Senior Leadership, across a specific portfolio/funder/theme providing senior level advice, guidance and support for research-related funding, proactively identifying and securing research funding opportunities and new partnerships and managing large, complex grant submission. As part of the role, the post holder will be expected to develop an excellent understanding of a particular funder, thematic area and have the opportunity to drive research and bidding strategies forward.
