About RoboPrecinct@PDD SmartPrecinct@PDD initiative aims to develop a precinct-scale robotics and embodied AI ecosystem at Punggol Digital District (PDD). The programme establishes shared digital infrastructure, regulatory frameworks (including cybersecurity and safety), embodied AI capabilities, industry collaborations, and real-world test-bedding environments to enable safe and scaled deployment of robots in PDD. The Operations Manager will support the day-to-day operations of the Programme, ensuring effective coordination, administrative support, and smooth execution of programme activities. Key Responsibilities Programme operations and administration Provide operational and administrative support for SmartPrecinct@PDD activities as well as related SIT-company joint programmes. Prepare meeting materials, minutes, and programme documentation. Maintain programme documentation and information repositories. Resource management Manage procurement processes for programme-related services, equipment, and operational needs. Coordinate budget tracking and administrative processes related to programme expenditures. Logistics and secretariat support Coordinate meetings, workshops, business trips and other events related to the programme. Provide secretariat support for programme governance meetings and committees. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or related disciplines. 3–5 years of relevant experience in operations management. Experience in administrative support such as procurement, event coordination, and programme documentation. Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Proficiency in office productivity tools. Key Responsibilities Formulate and optimize legume-based protein beverages (e.g., soy, pea, faba bean protein) for desired taste, texture, and stability. Conduct experimental trials on protein extraction, solubility, and emulsification properties to improve product performance. Conduct proper Design of Experiments to evaluate the functionality of prototypes. Analyze shelf life of product and ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. Evaluate sensory attributes (flavor, aroma, mouthfeel) and drive improvements based on consumer feedback. Scale up formulations from lab to pilot/industrial level. Troubleshoot formulation and processing challenges, including sedimentation, off-flavors, and shelf-life stability. Prepare and deliver scientific manuscripts, technical reports, progress summaries, and final reports for funding bodies and key stakeholders. Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external partners to support meetings, technology transfer initiatives, conferences, and authorized communication platforms. Guide, supervise, and mentor junior researchers, engineers, students, and visiting scholars contributing to project activities. Any other ad hoc responsibilities assigned by supervisor. Description The Perception and Active Cognition (PAC) Lab at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is seeking an Emirati Junior Research Scientist for a 30-month position supporting a collaborative research project between NYUAD and the National Academy of Childhood Development (NACD), a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority. Applicants with a background in psychology, neuroscience, linguistics and developmental psychology are encouraged to apply. Terms of employment include competitive salary and benefits. This role involves on-site work across NYUAD and NACD facilities and focuses on interdisciplinary research at the intersection of psychology, neuroscience and linguistics. The position also involves direct interaction with Emirati participants of all ages recruited through NACD, requiring strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, though a master’s degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with psycholinguistics, strong computational skills, and a background in developmental psychology or neuroscience.
