Introduction 

Gulf University for Science & Technology (GUST) is the first private university in Kuwait, established in 2002. It follows the American model of higher education and aims to meet the growing educational needs of Kuwait. The university is made up of three colleges: the College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Business Administration, and the College of Engineering and Architecture, and boasts a student body of over 4,000 full-time students and a faculty of more than 150 highly qualified members. 

GUST Accreditations 

Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) has been accredited by the Private Universities Council (PUC) and the Ministry of Higher Education of the State of Kuwait since 2002. Additionally, GUST has received international accreditations from various international standard bodies, including:

•   The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) International Quality Review (IQR) for its institution 

•   The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) International Programme Accreditation (IPA) for its English Programs 

•   The Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) for 

its Computer Science Program 

•   The American Communications Association (ACA) for 

its Mass Communication and Media Programs 

•   The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) for 

its College of Business Administration

•   The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for its Accounting  

      Program 

•   The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) for its Finance Program

•   The Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) for 

     its English Foundation Program 

•   The National Organization for Student Success (NOSS) for its Math Foundation 

       Program

MBA Program

GUST offers an MBA program tailored to meet your professional goals and aspirations, helping you grow in your career and unlock your leadership potential. The program is designed to meet the highest international standards while incorporating insights relevant to the local market. Notably, GUST's MBA is the only program in Kuwait that offers five concentrations-Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, and Marketing-across seven specialized tracks:

•    Finance - Financial Technology (Fin Tech) 

•    Management - Entrepreneurship

•    Management - Supply Chain Analytics

GUST International Scholarships

•   Three fully funded international scholarship programs/ bootcamps 

•   Progression program offering up to 40% tuition fee discounts for Masters and Ph.D. degrees for GUST graduates and alumni in collaboration with prestigious international universities

Mission

Our mission is to empower Kuwait's young generation to contribute to the country's transformation to become the region's financial hub by 2035, by enhancing their financial literacy, knowledge and experience in SME development with a focus on impact investing and social entrepreneurship.

Education

Our societal and regional context often seeks academic certification and not necessarily knowledge. At GUST, we will build innovative programs that instill knowledge based on theoretical and applied experience that culminates in academic certification.

Institutions outlive students and people. Having enduringly excellent students is different than an enduringly excellent institution. We want our institution (GUST) to outlive individuals. Therefore, we want to reflect this in our governance model, decision making process and standards.
