Introduction
Gulf University for Science & Technology (GUST) is the first private university in Kuwait, established in 2002. It follows the American model of higher education and aims to meet the growing educational needs of Kuwait. The university is made up of three colleges: the College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Business Administration, and the College of Engineering and Architecture, and boasts a student body of over 4,000 full-time students and a faculty of more than 150 highly qualified members.
GUST Accreditations
Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) has been accredited by the Private Universities Council (PUC) and the Ministry of Higher Education of the State of Kuwait since 2002. Additionally, GUST has received international accreditations from various international standard bodies, including:
• The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) International Quality Review (IQR) for its institution
• The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) International Programme Accreditation (IPA) for its English Programs
