We are seeking a highly experienced Programme Manager to provide strategic leadership for the RENEW project, a Research Ireland National Challenge Fund initiative currently in the final prize phase of its funding. This senior role will act as a central coordination point between the Advisory Panel, Senior Leadership, and the project’s technical and engagement teams, ensuring strong alignment between strategy, delivery, and impact. Salary Scale:  €70,034 – €90,830 p.a. pro rata at 0.9 FTE with increment Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions. This position provides accurate and timely advice to stakeholders on a wide range of research management matters, including grant applications, post-award processes, and research data administration. Working closely with the Research Services team, the officer assists in preparing research proposals, conducting compliance checks, managing budgets, and coordinating peer review processes. The role also involves maintaining research management systems and websites, supporting internal funding processes, and ensuring all documentation complies with relevant ANU and external policies and guidelines. Strong administrative, communication, and organisational skills are essential, along with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. This position is integral to the smooth and efficient operation of the Research Services team and contributes to the University’s broader research strategy.
