Green Valley College Foundation Inc is a private, non-profit higher education institution in the Philippines. It traces its origins to 1995, when it was originally established as the Green Valley School of Arts and Technology. 
Founded by engineer Romeo Sustiguer, the school was created to address the growing need for technical and vocational education in the region. Over time, it expanded its academic offerings and developed into Green Valley College Foundation Inc., serving students across a range of disciplines.
The college is located in Koronadal City, the capital of South Cotabato province. 
There are five colleges within the university: College of Engineering and Technology, College of Criminal Justice Education, College of Teacher Education, College of Business Education, and the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management, which offer a range of both undergraduate and graduate degree programmes. There is also the School of Professional Education and Executive Development, as well as Integrated Basic Education. 
The college also maintains a strong focus on technical and vocational education through TESDA-accredited training programmes. These courses support workforce development in areas such as automotive technology, welding, electronics, and hospitality services.

Description

The Geometry, Topology, and Physics group at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is seeking a Post-Doctoral Associate to conduct research in geometric and topological aspects of physics, including in high energy and condensed matter systems. Applicants with a background in algebraic topology, higher geometry, or mathematical physics are encouraged to apply. Terms of employment include competitive salary and benefits.

Research in Professor Hisham Sati’s group focuses on proper formulations of physical theories, with the development of the mathematical constructions that are needed to provide such descriptions, and uncovering new geometric and topological structures arising from physical phenomena in high energy physics and in condensed matter physics.

The successful candidate will be joining a very active group, which includes Senior Research Scientist Urs Schreiber and several Post-Docs and students, having weekly seminars and several workshops and conferences throughout the year.

Responsibilities of the position include theoretical/mathematical research on the projects of the group, active participation in the group activities, and giving talks internally and externally. There might be occasional light teaching support expected, including assisting in one course per year and possibly mentoring of students.

Candidates must hold a PhD degree in Mathematics or Theoretical/Mathematical Physics with Interest in interdisciplinary research, and with less than 5 years post-reciept of PhD. The ideal candidate would have research experience and interest at the interface of geometry/topology/physics, although having more expertise in one than the other two subjects is also fine.

Your Responsibility

Your key responsibilities include:


	To formulate and articulate research objectives, alongside developing proposals for both individual and collaborative projects, utilizing established methodologies and techniques to execute research effectively within the specified area;
	To analyze data meticulously, interpret findings, evaluate scholarly texts, and contribute innovative insights, while adhering to project deadlines and collaborating seamlessly with team members and partners;
	To write up research work for publication and/or contribute to the dissemination at national/international conferences, resulting in successful research outputs;
	To identify opportunities and assist in writing bids for research grant applications;
	To build relationships with both internal and external contacts in order to exchange information, to form relationships for future collaborations and identify potential sources of funds and/or opportunities for collaboration.


About You


	The candidate must have obtained a PhD degree within 3 years and in the areas of digital healthcare, healthcare management, information systems, or other related areas;

Findings from his research have appeared in leading journals such as MIS Quarterly (MISQ), Journal of Operations Management (JOM), Journal of Academy of Marketing Science (JAMS), and Journal of Association for Information Systems (JAIS), among others. Dr. Cai serves as the Managing Editor of Industrial Management & Data Systems (IMDS) and an Associate Editor for Internet Research (IR). Additionally, he has served as a Track Chair for the Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems (PACIS), a Mini-track Chair of the Americas' Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS), and an Associate Editor for the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) and the European Conference of Information Systems (ECIS). Dr. Huiming Song joined UNNC to work in accounting and Finance department in March 2016. Before joining UNNC, she have accumulated more than 14 years’ work experience in accounting and finance sector. This includes 7 years in Ireland, where Dr Song had worked in the accounting firm (Moore Stephens international, Dublin office), as a supervisor in their corporate finance department. After that, Dr Song joined bank of New York Mellon, Dublin office, working as a manager in the financial reporting department of Mutual fund. In year 2009, she returned to China and started my first CFO role in a Sino-USA joint venture based in Ningbo, after that she joined Alibaba global headquarter in Hangzhou, as a director in charge of the overseas and domestic M&As and post M&A integration and Financial reporting. This experience promoted her to start financial advisory career, she set up an international business department in BDO, specialize in assisting Chinese enterprises to do cross-border M&As and listing in overseas stock exchange. The above experience promoted me to do my current research on Chinese enterprises’ post Cross-Border Mergers and Acquisition integration. About the Project. This longitudinal project investigates the implementation of AI-empowered chronic disease management systems in hospitals. It examines human-AI collaboration and the "boundaries of work" between humans and algorithms across four key stakeholder groups: frontline healthcare workers, patients and family members, hospital administrators, and system developers. The project explores how clinical tasks are negotiated and delegated, addressing critical issues such as algorithmic trust, alert fatigue, professional autonomy, privacy concerns, and organizational integration. Adopting a mixed-methods approach with a strong emphasis on qualitative inquiry, the project combines in-depth interviews, ethnographic observation, and focus groups with longitudinal surveys and system log analysis. Notably, this project includes teaching case writing as a core component, with teaching cases to be developed and submitted to leading repositories, alongside journal publications in leading information systems or healthcare outlets.

Your Remuneration, Benefits and Support

You will be offered a fixed term contract with University of Nottingham Ningbo China for 2 years. You will be offered a minimum annual salary package of RMB269,906 with competitive benefits package. Postdoctoral Research Fellow is also able to apply RMB50,000 research funding after they start their research.
