Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) is a private higher education institution situated in Bangladesh. It was established in 2003 under the Private University Act of 1992 with the aim of developing a centre of excellence in higher education.
The university is located in Purbachal American City, Rupganj, in the Narayanganj District of central Bangladesh. Its campus provides a modern academic environment, featuring facilities such as laboratories, digital libraries, and multimedia classrooms.
The university is organised into four main faculties: the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Business Studies, the Faculty of Science and Engineering, and the Faculty of Law. Within these faculties are a number of departments offering programmes in areas such as business administration, computer science and engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, journalism and media communication, sociology, English, and law, alongside postgraduate degrees including MBA and LLM programmes.
The university offers initiatives such as mentorship programmes and professional skills training, and active student organisations. There are a number of clubs available for students to join including debating club, photography club, sports club, and robotics club.
