As a Lecturer in Nursing, you will: Lead unit teaching teams to design, deliver and continuously refine high‑quality curricula, learning resources and assessment practices that enhance student learning outcomes. Embed industry, clinical and research insights into teaching to strengthen relevance, engagement and real‑world application for diverse learners. Drive innovation in curriculum and pedagogy, adopting learner‑centric, research‑informed approaches across multiple levels and modes of delivery. To be successful, you’ll have: PhD in a relevant discipline, or equivalent qualifications and experience, with a strong record of scholarly teaching in undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs, including innovative curriculum design. Capacity for academic leadership, including contributing to research leadership, administrative responsibilities, and fostering effective, collegial working relationships. Description Political scientists at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) are looking to hire a full-time junior or assistant research Scientist – equivalent to a research assistant/associate at other institutions – to start in September 2026. The position entails data management, replication, and visualization as well as literature reviews and light text editing. There might be an opportunity for co-authorships for a qualified candidate. A successful candidate must have advanced data analysis skills in R and Stata, experience with data visualization in R, and GIS data work in R and/or ArcGIS. The candidate must be self-motivated, an independent thinker, fluent in English, and have well-developed writing skills. The position is open to applicants with a master’s degree in any social science discipline, quantitative data analysis, or statistics, and with less than 5 years of research experience in the relevant field, and/or PhD degree with any level of experience. Candidates with qualifications in or familiarity with political science are preferred. This is a full-time position based at NYU’s campus in Abu Dhabi.
