Glenville State College (GSC) is a four-year college located in Glenville, in West Virginia. Founded in 1872, Glenville State College has gained wide recognition for its teaching excellence ever since. The campus became known as "the Lighthouse on the Hill" for the quality of its teaching.
The college is only able to award bachelor’s degrees, and some of its most popular subjects include: english, health and human performance, marketing, music, pre-nursing, chemistry, and criminal justice.
Since 1991, the Glenville State College Alumni Centre – named the John E. Arbuckle House – is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The athletic teams at the university – known as Pioneers and Lady Pioneers – compete in the Mountain East Conference. Sports teams include: football, basketball, track and field, softball, golf, baseball, acrobatics and volleyball.
There are a plethora of clubs and organisations run by the university, which include: Future Business Leaders of America- PBL, American Choral Directors Association, American Chemical Society, GSC Yoga Club, Pioneer Shooting Club, and Science Fiction and Fantasy Guild.
Pioneer Media is a student organisation which consists of a university newspaper, radio station, or television station. The school newspaper – The Mercury – became digitised in 2012 due to rising costs of printing. The radio station was also brought online in 2012 and is available via the internet.
Notable alumni include Channing Tatum, an American actor and dancer, Robert Sowards, an American professional golfer, and Gray Barker, an American writer best known for his books about UFOs and other paranormal phenomena.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, especially regarding visa documentation and application deadlines. Professional communication and interpersonal skills for cross-cultural collaboration. Strong writing skills for formal correspondence, reports, and student guidelines. Our research staff will have the opportunity to be equipped with applied research skill sets that are relevant to industry demands while working on research projects in SIT. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver on an industry funded research project where you will be part of the research team to develop advanced Nuclear Quadrupole Resonance (NQR) scanning technologies. Job Responsibilities Participate in research project with Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI and the research team members to ensure all project deliverables are met. Undertake these responsibilities in the project: i. Conduct comprehensive literature review on NQR technology, including design approaches, scanning methods, signal processing techniques, and comparison with alternative detection technologies. ii. Support design and development of NQR prototype, including system architecture, component selection, and experimental setup. iii. Conduct lab and site tests to evaluate the performance of NQR prototype. iv. Generate design documents and test documents at every stage of development until the final prototype. Coordinate procurement and liaison with vendors/suppliers. Carry out Risk Assessment, and ensure compliance with Work, Safety and Health Regulations. Work independently, as well as within a team, to ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment. Job Requirements Has a bachelor’s degree in Electronics; Specialization in RF/Microwave or Digital Signal Processing (DSP) is preferred. Has solid knowledge of electronics, including circuit design, PCB layout, and hardware troubleshooting. Has relevant competence in the areas of Radio Frequency design and measurement; Familiarity with high-power amplifier systems is a plus. Has relevant experience in the areas of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) design and implementation is a plus. Experience in electromagnetic simulation using CST Studio Suite and circuit simulation with PSpice, LTspice, or equivalent is an advantage. Experience with developing software for instrument control and data acquisition using LabVIEW is helpful. Project Planner will support the Principal Investigator in matters related to grant application writing, project management and laboratory management. Job description The goal of this position is to provide high-level project planning, coordination, and research administration support to the Principal Investigator and research team. You will help ensure that projects progress efficiently from idea generation and grant preparation through implementation, compliance, and publication.
