About the Job As Apprenticeship Coach, you’ll provide high-quality pastoral, academic and developmental support to apprentices throughout their learning journey. You’ll play a central role in helping apprentices stay engaged, motivated, and on track, ensuring they develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to succeed in their apprenticeship and future career. This is a highly rewarding role for someone who is passionate about learner success, understands how apprenticeships work, and can build strong, supportive relationships with learners and employers. You will guide apprentices through their programme, monitor progress and ensure they are fully prepared for gateway and End-Point Assessment (EPA). In November 2024, the University of Hong Kong LKS Faculty of Medicine (HKUMed) was appointed as the operator of GBAICTI. In December 2025, the Real-World Study and Application Centre (RWSAC) was established under GBAICTI to open up local health and medical databases and promote collaboration between Hong Kong and other GBA cities. We are now seeking a high-calibre professional to join the RWSAC (located at Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone) as Data Scientist. We now invite applications for the captioned post. Duties and Responsibilities Manage, process, and analyse complex real-world healthcare datasets to generate insights and evidence. Develop and implement data pipelines for the ingestion, curation, and transformation of RWD into the common data model. Conduct advanced statistical analyses and epidemiological studies on RWD. Collaborate with the Research Coordinators and Project Managers to define analysis plans and ensure data quality for specific projects. Prepare analysis datasets, reports, and visualisations for both internal stakeholders and external clients/sponsors. Ensure all data handling and analysis comply with stringent data security, privacy, and governance protocols. Requirements PhD degree or above in Epidemiology, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related disciplines. Minimum 3 years’ experience in epidemiology, data science, data analysis, or data management field. Proficiency in analytics tools such as Python, SQL, and R Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including both Cantonese and Putonghua). Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and/or an interview.
