Appointment as Assistant Professor will be made on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal and with consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second three-year fixed-term contract. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Philosophy. The position is open to all areas of specialization, but applicants must have an interest in – and commitment to – pursuing teaching and research in philosophy or ethics of AI. The appointee is expected to develop a vigorous, independent research programme, to excel in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and curriculum development, and to handle the usual non-teaching duties.
