Georgian American University (GAU) is a private accredited higher education institution, which was founded by Georgian and American partners in 2005 and currently has about 3,000 graduates.

GAU unites 5 faculties (schools). These are: Business school; School of Law, Social Sciences and Diplomacy; School of Informatics and Engineering; School of Humanities and Liberal Education; School of Medicine; We have 3 international programs: the Undergraduate Medical Doctor (MD) Program, Bachelor of Business Administration Program and PhD Program in International Relations.

The mission of GAU is to provide students with education based on advanced scientific-research and teaching-practical models, research and innovative activities. On the basis of ensuring equal opportunities - by strengthening knowledge, skills and universal values and recognizing social responsibility, promoting the development of society and the global integration of the individuals, through creating, accumulating and sharing knowledge.

Upon admission to GAU, a student has an exclusive opportunity to participate in a various student activity (sports and entertainment activities, social responsibility projects, public lectures, etc.) and most importantly, to participate in several exchange programs (Erasmus+, Mevlana, etc.) and to get a unique experience in different countries.

GAU has the highest rate of student and alumni employability in Georgia, more than 50% of active students are employed during their bachelor’s studies, while the absolute majority of GAU Alumni are employed upon Graduation. GAU Career Center provides effective communication between potential employers and the students and supports students/graduates in their quest for internships and desired jobs.
