Gautam Buddha University is located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 2008.

Unusually it began with postgraduate provision, with an MBA as its first course offer in 2008.

It has now expanded and offers a range of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in humanities and social sciences, information and computer technology, management, biotechnology, engineering, vocational and applied education, law, justice and government, Buddhism and civilisation, forensic science, artificial intelligence and robotics, and environmental science.

Research centres include the Centre for Excellence in Drone Technology.

There are 18 hostels with space for 5,000 students on campus while facilities include the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Meditation Centre. 

It occupies a 511-hectare campus which has been used on a number of occasions as a film location.

Applicants must hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Nutritional Epidemiology or a related field, with substantial experience in dietary analysis, epidemiologic study design, big data handling, and dietary pattern deduction. They must demonstrate proven expertise in nutritional epidemiology, particularly in linking dietary pattern identification to health outcomes, and preference will be given to those with specialized experience in diet and health research in large population cohorts. The appointee is expected to demonstrate both independent research capabilities and effective team collaboration, manage ongoing research projects on lifestyle monitoring and intervention, publish original research articles in high-impact journals, assist PIs in writing external competitive grants, and develop their own SEED funding applications. This position offers excellent mentorship and access to large-scale cohort data in a collaborative research environment.  A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. We seek to appoint a Senior Genomics Technician, to join our team. Position Overview The Genomics Technician Lead will work in the BRF Genotyping team. The appointee will work closely with other group members to expand our current mouse based NGS amplicon genotyping services to include screening genetically modified plants and increase our ecogenomics services for ANU, BPA and other external clients. They will be responsible for DNA extraction from plant material and other organisms, PCR and amplicon library preparation utilising high end liquid handling automation, data generation and handling. This position requires experience in molecular biology, and a high level of organisational skills, attention to detail as well as strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with other team members, students and academics on a range of bioscience research topics. As a client-focused facility, effective communication skills and teamwork are essential, along with an interest in bioscience research. Additionally, these roles require a solid and demonstrated background in laboratory-based molecular biology skills and demonstrated organisational skills and commitment to meet deadlines.
