Applicants must hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Nutritional Epidemiology or a related field, with substantial experience in dietary analysis, epidemiologic study design, big data handling, and dietary pattern deduction. They must demonstrate proven expertise in nutritional epidemiology, particularly in linking dietary pattern identification to health outcomes, and preference will be given to those with specialized experience in diet and health research in large population cohorts. The appointee is expected to demonstrate both independent research capabilities and effective team collaboration, manage ongoing research projects on lifestyle monitoring and intervention, publish original research articles in high-impact journals, assist PIs in writing external competitive grants, and develop their own SEED funding applications. This position offers excellent mentorship and access to large-scale cohort data in a collaborative research environment.  A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The Content and Discovery Team provides support for the acquisition, licensing, description and discovery of both print and online resources, and provides our document delivery service for items not held in library collections. You will have responsibility for staff located at both our Cranfield and Shrivenham campuses. About You You should hold a postgraduate qualification in Library/Information Science (or similar) and have substantive experience in an appropriate library environment preferably within the higher education sector, at least some of which should have been in a managerial position. You will possess an excellent mix of communication, interpersonal and lateral thinking skills combined with detailed knowledge of library content management practices which will help you plan and shape services for the future. The full-time position (40 hours/week) includes a teaching load of an average of 14 semester hours per week of academic teaching. This comprises both large and small course formats covering the above-mentioned foundational topics of digitalization in economics and business studies, AI competency courses for the preparation of academic work, the teaching of bachelor seminars, and the supervision of master’s theses (in accordance with the statutes of the University of Vienna). Close integration with the introductory and advanced digitalization modules of the degree programmes in Business Administration, International Business Administration, and Economics is intended.
