The Opportunity As a Digital Communications Officer, you will play a key role in implementing CAP's digital communications strategy. Working within the Partnerships and Engagement team you will create high-quality engaging digital content that showcases the College's research, academic expertise, student experience and alumni impact. Your primary responsibilities will include: Digital content creation: Plan, write and produce engaging digital content for websites, social media, e-communications and digital campaigns, including stories, profiles and promotional copy. Visual content: Produce and source visual assets such as photography, basic graphic design materials and, where appropriate, short-form video to support campaigns, events and communications activities. Content sourcing: Conduct interviews with academics, students, alumni and partners to develop tailored content for different platforms and audiences. Social media management: Plan, schedule and publish social media content, engage with online audiences and support digital campaigns. Analytics and reporting: Monitor and analyse website and social media performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve reach and engagement. Brand and compliance: Ensure all digital communications align with ANU brand guidelines, style guides and relevant policies.  Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field. Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation. Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in using content management systems, social media management tools, and email marketing platforms. Familiarity with digital analytics and an interest in using data to improve content performance. Creative mindset, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Kriege. Our research focuses on the development of new methods and learning algorithms for structured data. Graphs and networks are ubiquitous in various domains from chem- and bioinformatics to computer vision and social network analysis. Machine learning with graphs aims at exploiting the potential of the growing amount of structured data in all these areas to automate, accelerate and improve decision making. Analysing graph data requires solving problems at the boundaries of machine learning, graph theory, and algorithmics. Your future tasks: You actively participate in research, teaching & administration, which means: You are involved in research projects in the area of graph learning. You are working on scientific articles to publish your research results. You attend scientific conferences to present your research. We expect you to finalize your dissertation agreement within 12 months. You work on your dissertation and its completion.
