European University Ukraine, established in 1991 by the Tymoshenko family, is one of the first established and most prominent private higher education institutions in Ukraine.
Situated in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv, the university operates across a large campus offering extensive resources including a modern library, large dormitories, sports and extracurricular centres, dining facilities, and even a ski base in the nearby Carpathian Mountains.
Today European University educates around 10,000 students, including several hundred international students from nearly 30 countries across the globe.
Its International Students’ Faculty delivers programmes in both English and Ukrainian across a range of disciplines such as law, economics, management, cybersecurity, computer science, psychology, and the arts. The institution offers junior specialist, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees, alongside preparatory courses, and postgraduate training.
European University is formally accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and is listed in UNESCO’s directory of universities. It is a member of the International Association of Universities and cooperates actively with higher education institutions around the world, supporting staff and student mobility.
