EU Business School Munich is one of the four European campuses of the EU Business School. More than 700 students attend the university from over 100 nationalities. It offers bachelor's degrees in business management with minors in business administration; communication and public relations; leisure and tourism management; international relations; sports management; digital business, design and innovation and business finance. There are also 11 master's degrees, a variety of MBA programmes, an English Foundation programme, a Business Bridging Programme and a Business Winter School. All of the classes are taught in English and the class sizes are relatively small. The EU Business School Munich is located in the heart of the city, spread across 2,000m². The 14 classrooms are equipped with the latest teaching technology. There is also a large library. The campus was recently expanded and redesigned in 2019. The university has strong partnerships with universities around the world giving students the opportunity to gain an insight into studying abroad. There is a student lounge where students can spend time between lectures catching up with friends, playing table football or can grab a coffee or snacks. Munich and the surrounding areas are home to top companies such as BMW, Coca-Cola, MAN Trucks, Audi and Porsche giving students the opportunity to undertake work placements and internships with companies. There is also a flourishing startup scene with 20 per cent of Germany's most successful start-ups headquartered in Munich. The city of Munich is well-connected with a good metro, bus and tram system. There are plenty of things for students to do outside of classes such as the world-famous Oktoberfest, Christmas markets, music festivals, alpine skiing, football matches and plenty of restaurants and cafes to eat in.

The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences is seeking to appoint a motivated individual to join the Business Operations Team and support the launch of a new Nursing Apprenticeship programme. The role The post holder will work within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences to provide high-quality administrative support for apprenticeship programmes and external partnerships, with a particular focus on Nursing Degree Apprenticeships and Transnational Education (TNE) activity. They will be the primary administrative lead and first point of contact for all apprenticeship-related matters across the Faculty, providing a consistent and knowledgeable interface for apprentices, employer partners, academic staff, and central university services. The post holder will take ownership of all operational apprenticeship administration, including maintaining accurate and compliant learner records through the DfE Apprenticeship Service portal and managing ILR data returns. They will oversee student enrolment, progression tracking, funding documentation, and End Point Assessment logistics, ensuring that records, processes, and systems meet regulatory requirements and uphold data quality standards throughout the apprenticeship lifecycle. Working closely with the Business Operations team and wider professional services teams, the post holder will coordinate effective communication across internal and external stakeholders, including NHS employer partners, clinical practice educators, Chief Student Officer (CSO) Office, and central admissions. The role will also include supporting key strategic initiatives, partnership advancement, network development, and providing administrative support for accreditation activities, inspections, faculty events, and committees. About you The successful candidate will need to demonstrate previous experience of working in an administrative role, with strong experience in reporting and data administration. Excellent IT skills are essential, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom, and SharePoint, along with the ability and willingness to learn bespoke software systems. The role requires excellent communication skills, adaptability and flexibility, and a strong customer service focus. The post holder will need to be able to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner and demonstrate excellent planning and organisational abilities. A proactive approach, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, is essential. Experience of administering and supporting apprenticeship programmes or Transnational Education (TNE) programmes would be desirable, as would experience of the Higher Education sector and awareness of the activities of the University. We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic and responsible person, with the ability to work both as an effective team member and independently. The role will be predominantly based on the Manor Park campus but may also require travel to the Stag Hill campus on occasion for Faculty or University-wide events. Hybrid working patterns can be considered, but a minimum of three days is expected on site. The research group has strong expertise in mineral surface chemistry, biogeochemistry, and molecular-scale processes governing the stabilization, transformation, and persistence of organic matter in the environment.  Your future tasks: As part of this position, you will actively contribute to research, teaching, and administrative activities: Participation in research on organic–mineral interactions, including adsorption, stabilization, and degradation of organic molecules on mineral surfaces. Investigation of the role of mineralogy, surface properties, and molecular characteristics (e.g., molecular size, functional groups, etc.) in controlling organic matter preservation. You will work continuously on your dissertation and its timely completion. Publication and presentation of research in international top journals and conferences. You will hold courses in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement. Teaching and administrative tasks in research and teaching as defined by the collective agreement. Supervision of master students. This is part of your personality: M.Sc. degree in environmental geochemistry, environmental chemistry, geosciences, biogeochemistry, or a related field. Strong interest in organic–mineral interactions and environmental processes governing carbon cycling. Experience with working in a laboratory. Familiarity with mineral surface chemistry and/or organic matter characterization is an advantage. Experience with analytical techniques (e.g., XRD, UV-visible spectroscopy, chromatography, qPCR, or similar) is a plus. Excellent command of written and spoken English.
