The University of Nicosia Medical School (UNIC Athens) invites applications from motivated clinical academics for a Teaching and Research Faculty position in Pathology / Histopathology, based in Athens, Greece. Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in Pathology / Histopathology or a relevant field. Specialty certification in Pathology / Histopathology (Board Certification or equivalent) and relevant clinical experience. Eligibility for full, unrestricted medical licensure in Greece, permitting independent practice of Pathology / Histopathology. Proven record of undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching relevant to the subject area. Research portfolio and publication record commensurate with the rank sought. Excellent command of Greek and English. Key Responsibilities Develop, deliver, and regularly update content relevant to their specialty across the curriculum of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme, from pre-clinical courses to clinical rotations, as well as in postgraduate programmes. The successful candidate will be expected to engage students through innovative teaching methods, fostering critical thinking, clinical reasoning, professional values and ethical practice. Provide clinical education leadership, overseeing curriculum design and delivery, student assessment and continuous quality improvement, and provide mentorship to junior members of the clinical education team. Provide mentorship and guidance to students, including advising on research projects, theses, and career development. Conduct high-impact research in Pathology / Histopathology, securing external funding to establish and sustain these programmes. Disseminate findings through peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences. Serve on Departmental and School committees and assist with strategic planning and development. Advance the School’s mission by leading community outreach initiatives, holding leadership roles in relevant professional societies, and building strategic partnerships with healthcare and regulatory organisations. Job Description FACULTY OF ARTS AND SOCIAL SCIENCES ACADEMY OF WELLNESS AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Sports Industry Management (23241166) The Academy of Wellness and Human Development invites applications for the positions of Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor in Sports Industry Management. Successful candidates will be expected to engage in cutting-edge academic research, contribute to the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, supervise student projects and dissertations, and participate in departmental activities as required. Candidates should have expertise in one or more of the following areas: sports business analytics, sports tourism, esports, sports media, sports marketing, sports law, or event management. Requirements: A relevant doctoral degree; Strong track record in research and tertiary teaching experience; Substantial publication record in high-impact international refereed journals; and Solid experience in course instruction, research student supervision, programme administration and development, and academic administration.  Those applying for the Associate Professor position or higher should demonstrate extensive experience and success in securing research grants. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two to three years, commencing January 2026.
