About EPrints Services As a result of our continued success, we are hiring into a Software Engineering / Customer Support role. We primarily develop and maintain Web-based repository services for a wide variety of both education and commercial organisations all over the World. At our core is an open source repository platform, EPrints, which provides a flexible way to configure operations concerning data capture, structure and presentation, and a range of services that allow content to be accessed in a variety of ways. We support our many customers by maintaining our own Linux based virtual hosting infrastructure. We are a well established small Enterprise team based in the School of Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton. About You As part of the team, you will take responsibility for the development and support of customer focused projects, for both EPrints systems and more varied engineering activities. These typically relate to open access, open data, digital education, content management and systems integrations. All projects require some level of design, programming, testing, project management, and customer support. It is essential you have: Proven industrial experience and / or  PhD or equivalent professional qualifications and experience in Computer Science or related discipline. In addition, some knowledge of Linux as well as Web relevant technologies, for example XML, SQL, JavaScript and CSS is required. Experience in high level programming languages such as Python, PHP or Perl will be highly desirable. This role is offered at either Level 4 or Level 5 (Senior) depending on your experience. About the Job The Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) is an NHS-commissioned course training clinical psychologists to high standards and eligibility for the HCPC statutory register of practitioner psychologists.  The course is central to regional health and mental health workforce development and is delivered through high-profile partnerships between the University and London NHS Trusts. The Academic Director role reflects and strengthens the University's position as a leading provider of postgraduate clinical psychology training, aligning with our strategic priorities in health innovation, community engagement, and interdisciplinary research. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Tutor to contribute to our Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in supporting trainees’ personal and professional development while contributing to clinical teaching, supervision, and programme leadership within the Department of Psychology and Human Development and the School of Childhood and Social Care. About you: The successful applicant will have excellent knowledge of the professional, clinical and academic requirements of clinical training programmes in UK Higher Education and will contribute to the development of Clinical Psychology in the university through research and teaching. As Clinical Tutor, you will: Act as tutor to a specified year group of trainees, including line management responsibilities and monitoring overall progress. Provide individual tutoring, including Mid-Placement and Annual Reviews. Support delivery of the Personal and Professional Development unit. Contribute to clinical skills teaching and other areas of the programme aligned with your expertise. Qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS) as conferring eligibility for Chartered Status. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Desirable Research experience, ideally within the NHS. Experience of clinical and research supervision at postgraduate level. Experience working with Clinical and/or Counselling Psychology training programmes. Experience supervising Clinical and/or Counselling Psychology trainees. Research Technician In Vivo Cancer Immunotherapy

Project summary An exciting opportunity is available to join the laboratories of Dr Ali Roghanian and Dr Salah Mansour at the University of Southampton in collaboration with MiNK Therapeutics. We are seeking a collaborative and motivated scientist to work on our new funded programme developing next-generation, off-the-shelf immunotherapies for childhood cancers. This 21-month project will harness engineered cytotoxic invariant Natural Killer T (iNKT) cells for precision targeting of paediatric cancer neoantigens. Building on strong preliminary data, it combines mechanistic and translational immunology with bespoke in vivo models to define and exploit therapeutic candidates. The Research Assistant will lead studies on cytotoxic T cell mechanisms, oversee preclinical validation, and advance TCR-engineered iNKT platforms optimised for immunotherapy. The role bridges basic and translational research and suits a creative scientist with interests in tumour immunology, T cell engineering, and immunotherapy. You will join a multidisciplinary team spanning immunology, with access to advanced flow cytometry and in vivo platforms. Key responsibilities To work within the Mansour and Roghanian labs, and with collaborators at Southampton, LifeArc and MiNK Therapeutics. To design, conduct, and analyse in vitro and in vivo immunology experiments. To lead the optimisation and functional assessment of human T cells. To liaise and coordinate between project collaborators, including the industrial partner, and core facilities. To record analyses accurately and present results at group and collaborative meetings, and conferences. To contribute to dissemination of findings through publications and grant applications. Any other duties appropriate to the scope and grade of the post. Essential qualifications, experience and competencies Degree (BSc or equivalent) in biological or biomedical sciences or equivalent experience Strong practical experience with core immunological assays (e.g., FACS, ELISA, T cell assays). Proven competence in the design and execution of experiments using mouse models of cancer. Ability to manage projects to timelines, supervise junior staff, and work both independently and collaboratively. Excellent communication and presentation skills, including at conferences. Desirable Experience in engineering human T cells, viral transduction, or related approaches. Home Office Personal Licence.
