About the Department  The Department of Computer Science at UWA India will form an integral part of UWA’s academic community. It will offer various degrees in Computing with subjects across Computer Science, Philosophy and Statistics including software engineering, computer systems, cybersecurity, databases and data engineering, ethics and artificial intelligence, statistics, data science, and the Internet of Things. Staff will also be undertaking impactful world class research. About the opportunity As an Assistant Professor or Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at UWA India, you will contribute to high quality teaching and learning, develop and disseminate impactful research, and participate in scholarly, service and governance activities that support UWA’s academic mission.  At Assistant Professor level, you will deliver approved undergraduate and postgraduate units, contribute to curriculum enhancement, develop an emerging research profile with peer reviewed outputs, participate in research funding applications and supervise students where appropriate.  At Senior Assistant Professor level, you will make substantial contributions to curriculum and programme design, lead or co lead scholarly and research initiatives, undertake independent and collaborative research that makes original disciplinary contributions, supervise research students, contribute actively to research funding applications and mentor junior staff.  About you   Assistant Professor  A PhD in a relevant Computer Science discipline, or near completion at the time of appointment.   Demonstrated ability to undertake high-quality research with potential to publish in well-regarded international peer-reviewed journals.
