In addition, a teaching focussed academic will support the administrative functions of the nursing and/or midwifery disciplines as well as undertake scholarly work relevant to the development of learning and teaching in their designated role, discipline or professional field. In the School of Nursing and Midwifery, students are required to complete clinical placements that vary between three and five weeks in duration. The clinical placements are integrated into the study plan to complement learning on campus or in the clinical schools. Duties will include but are not limited to: Reporting to the Coordinator – Professional Experience Practice, will have oversight of placements within the nursing and midwifery disciplines.
