East West University is a private university located in Aftab Nagar, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
It was established in 1996 under the Private University Act of 1992.
East West University offers a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programmes through its three main faculties: the Faculty of Business and Economics, the Faculty of Sciences and Engineering, and the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences.
East West University has a dedicated resource Centre for Research and Training (EWUCRT) to provide students with the necessary resources to facilitate research.
Additionally, the university has also forged partnerships with several leading institutions in Bangladesh and across the world.
EWU is a member of Trade Knowledge Network, a collaboration of research institutions in developed and developing countries located in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas.
