Sheffield Hallam University is seeking an exceptional leader to join us as Head of the Sheffield Institute of Education (SIoE). Applicants should possess a medical qualification registrable with the Medical Council of Hong Kong and a specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, or be eligible to apply to the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine for the Certification of Specialist Registration. They should have experience as a teacher or trainer in undergraduate, postgraduate or professional education, with evidence of local to regional recognition of clinical excellence. Experience in undergraduate curriculum reform and development, as well as proven capacity and potential in conducting research in their respective field(s) would be advantageous. Ability to speak Cantonese will also be an advantage, although teaching and professional activities are conducted in English. The appointee will undertake teaching responsibilities, and organize and develop undergraduate programmes.
