Industrial AI Algorithm and Autonomous Decision-Making Systems RESPONSIBILITIES Research and develop autonomous decision-making algorithms for process industries (e.g., chemical, pharmaceutical, materials, energy) or discrete manufacturing (e.g., electronics assembly, automotive, home appliances). Explore the integration of large language models and reinforcement learning for real-time optimization, fault self-recovery, and production scheduling in industrial processes. The group participates in a range of international collaborative projects aimed at fostering multidisciplinary cooperation and contributing to evidence-based decision-making in public health and disease prevention. Who We Are Looking For The research team is seeking a highly-motivated postdoc/researcher to collaborate on ongoing projects focused on evaluating potential links between the exposome and health outcomes (e.g., incidence or mortality of cancer, cardiovascular, or respiratory diseases). The post holder will focus on one or more of the following areas: Cancer Epidemiology – investigating environmental, psychosocial, and social exposures in relation to common cancers, including ecological, cohort or multi-level analyses, using a range of data (e.g. registers, spatial data, biomarkers of health effects, phenotype, GWAS and other -omics data).
