The Senior Duty Manager is responsible for supervising front-line staff, maintaining facility standards, and ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures. The role supports the Operations Manager in delivering excellent customer service, operational efficiency, and a positive team culture. The role will include working early morning, late evenings and weekends on a rota basis. About you The successful candidate will have previous experience in a supervisory role in which they handled staff effectively to achieve results. Understanding the importance of Health and Safety in the leisure industry is essential and the candidate should have the ability to deliver a high-quality service with minimum supervision. The post-holder will also be adaptable & flexible and will have the ability to deal with customers and their queries and concerns with tact, diplomacy and kindness. Knowledge of integrated management systems and experience of computerised leisure management systems are essential. At the forefront of cancer control, Professor Karen Canfell and her team play a pivotal role in supporting policy, practice and decision-making for innovative cancer solutions. Their groundbreaking work has led to the transformation of Australia's National Cervical Screening Program, which transitioned to HPV testing in 2017, positioning Australia as the first country expected to eliminate cervical cancer as a public health issue. Professor Canfell's team also lead the Elimination Partnership in the Indo-Pacific for Cervical Cancer (EPICC) program. This is the largest ever initiative of its kind, working across more than 8 countries in the Indo-Pacific, leveraging Australian, international and in-country partner expertise to accelerate the World Health Organization's strategy for the elimination of cervical cancer.
