As such, we see the importance of recruiting talent aligned to these values and are looking for individuals who has or can demonstrate the capacity to achieve the following: Lecturer: a PhD in Psychology or closely related discipline a sustained record of independently conducting high-quality research that builds on and/or supports the School's existing strengths, including publishing research in high-quality international peer-reviewed journals experience in submitting applications for nationally and/or internationally competitive research funding (e.g. ARC/NHRMC/MRFF) and/or for industry/stakeholder-linked funding a record of establishing an independent research programme and developing a successful research team, including national and/or international collaborations experience in providing outstanding research training (e.g. honours/PhD) deliver high quality teaching, including developing innovative course content and assessments sound experience of teaching and learning, and the ability to contribute to teaching at undergraduate, honours and post graduate levels in lecture, tutorial, seminars and other educational settings in various areas of psychology high levels of communication and organisational skills relevant to managing research and teaching the capacity to contribute to governance, leadership, and engagement within the School and across the broader University the ability to work collaboratively with other academic and professional staff, including fostering and enhancing principles of equity, diversity and inclusion. Senior Lecturer: in addition to above, has demonstrated capacity to: the ability to establish and lead a team of researchers to enhance the standing of the School a record of securing nationally competitive research funding (e.g. ARC/NHRMC/MRFF) and/or industry/stakeholder-linked funding the ability to lead curriculum development that enhances student learning outcomes in the Psychology curriculum. Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in Gastroenterology or a relevant field. Specialty certification in Gastroenterology (Board Certification or equivalent) and relevant clinical experience. Eligibility for full, unrestricted medical licensure in Greece, permitting independent practice of Gastroenterology. Proven record of undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching relevant to the subject area. Research portfolio and publication record commensurate with the rank sought. Excellent command of Greek and English. Key Responsibilities Develop, deliver, and regularly update content relevant to their specialty across the curriculum of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme, from pre-clinical courses to clinical rotations, as well as in postgraduate programmes. The successful candidate will be expected to engage students through innovative teaching methods, fostering critical thinking, clinical reasoning, professional values and ethical practice. Provide clinical education leadership, overseeing curriculum design and delivery, student assessment and continuous quality improvement, and provide mentorship to junior members of the clinical education team. Provide mentorship and guidance to students, including advising on research projects, theses, and career development. Conduct high-impact research in Gastroenterology, securing external funding to establish and sustain these programmes. Disseminate findings through peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences. Serve on Departmental and School committees and assist with strategic planning and development. As a University of Applied Learning, SIT works closely with industry in our research pursuits. Our research staff will have the opportunity to be equipped with applied research skill sets that are relevant to industry demands while working on research projects in SIT. The Research Engineer (Modelling and Simulation) will support a one-year applied research project and evaluate a mobile DC microgrid for military tactical applications. The role involves developing detailed power system models in ETAP and MATLAB/Simulink, conducting performance and reliability simulations, and analysing the behaviour of solar PV, BESS, diesel generators, and DC distribution systems. The engineer will also document modelling assumptions, prepare technical reports, support procurement and project operations, and assist in supervising student researchers. This position is ideal for candidates with strong grounding in power system modelling, microgrid technologies, and simulation-based research. Key Responsibilities Participate in and manage the research project with the PI, Co-PI, and team to design a robust mobile DC microgrid for military operations. Develop detailed simulation models simulation models in ETAP and MATLAB/Simulink for solar PV arrays, battery energy storage systems (BESS), vehicle-based deployable storage, diesel generator sets and rectifiers, DC distribution bus and electrical loads. Implement and carry out simulation studies to analyse system performance under various operating conditions such as extreme weather, load variation, equipment failure and deployment constraints. Perform load flow, transient stability, reliability, and efficiency studies to evaluate microgrid architecture options. Support the integration of various generation assets into a cohesive DC microgrid model. Document modelling assumptions, system parameters, simulation results, and engineering insights for final reporting. Prepare simulation diagrams, charts, and technical specifications for submission. Assist with procurement of software licences and technical equipment. Conduct Risk Assessments and ensure compliance with WSH regulations. Support supervision of capstone project students involved in the project. Work independently and collaboratively to maintain research software and project tools. To communicate and liaise with any internal and external stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met. Any other ad-hoc duties assigned. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field from a recognised university. Knowledge and experience in modelling and simulation of microgrids or power systems using ETAP and/or MATLAB/Simulink. Experience in distributed energy resources (DERs), PV, BESS, diesel gensets, or DC microgrids is highly advantageous. Familiarity with energy management systems, microgrid control strategies, or predictive/dynamic control will be an advantage. Experience in conducting simulation studies, analysing results, and preparing technical reports. Commitment to supervising student projects and supporting hands-on training activities. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Excellent technical writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

This position is situated within the Centre for Immersification, dedicated to applied research in immersive technologies and bridging the gap between academia and industry. Research staff at the Centre have the opportunity to be equipped with applied research skill sets relevant to industry demands while working on innovative projects within the university. The research team is seeking a Research Fellow or Research Engineer with strong expertise in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and social science methodologies to lead the user research and policy development, as part of an interdisciplinary team investigating harmful user-generated content in virtual worlds as part of a national research initiative on Online Trust and Safety. The primary responsibility of this role is to investigate users’ experiences with harmful content in these virtual environments, review existing reporting guidelines on these platforms, and evaluate users’ responses to alternative mechanisms. The successful candidate will work with a diverse team of faculty members, engineers, and industry partners, including labs at the College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS) at NTU. Technical skills, natural curiosity, versatility, and enthusiasm are highly desired traits that will enable success in this fast-paced environment.
