Duties and Responsibilities To lead a team of training officers and research officers in the project and to make sure all the training and research deliverables are delivered on time Perform administrative roles and prepare regular reports to the funder, collaborators and directors Participate in teaching of professional training programmes and occasionally engage in public education activities of the Project Support and perform other duties as assigned Requirements Master’s Degree or above in Social Work, Gerontology, Mental Health, Psychology, Behavioral Health, Counselling, Management or related discipline At least 5-8 years’ relevant work experience in managing professional and public education project, preferably in medical and social work topics Good command of written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese) and English Knowledge in palliative care, family counseling, use of art, use of therapeutic groups and bereavement care would be an advantage Applicants with less experience or qualifications may be considered for appointment as Research Officer What We Offer The appointment will commence from as soon as possible on temporary basis until June 30, 2027, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. In this teaching-focused role, you will deliver high-quality, student-centred teaching across face-to-face and blended modes, as well as contribute to curriculum development, academic administration, and maintain strong industry engagement. This position is required for face-to-face teaching on our Bathurst campus and therefore remote work options are not available. About you A doctoral qualification relevant to electrical engineering or similar, or equivalent accreditation and standing. Description The Division of Science at New York University Abu Dhabi is inviting applications for Postdoctoral Associate positions in the broad research areas of mathematical analysis and partial differential equations (PDEs). While all applicants with a background in the analysis of PDEs will be considered, candidates with prior experience in theoretical physics, fluid mechanics, kinetic theory, dispersive equations or harmonic analysis will be given special attention. The Postdoctoral Associates will be appointed for a duration of two years and will work under the supervision of Associate Professor Diogo Arsénio on subjects including: Magnetohydrodynamics and the mathematical theory of plasmas. Collisional kinetic models and their hydrodynamic limits. Dispersive phenomena in kinetic theory. Quantum gases. Applicants must hold a PhD degree in mathematics, physics or a related field.
