Our team of researchers lead key internationally competitive research from molecules to medicines, from patient to policy across a range of therapeutic areas. We are seeking a Senior Administration Officer to manage general administrative services and provide operational support to the school office. The role involves organising events, preparing documents, managing records, responding to complex enquiries, providing advice on policy and procedures, supporting staff and students, and contributing to efficient administrative operations across the work area. This position is targeted for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, under the provisions of section 126 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).' About you strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, initiative and ability to prioritise workload during busy periods. excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience handling enquiries and providing customer service with discretion. well-developed negotiation, relationship building and influencing skills. proactive and positive approach to process improvement. advanced computer skills including Microsoft office and intranet or web software administrative experience in a tertiary organization or working knowledge of academic institutions and the higher education sector. working knowledge of software programs such as Concur, Unibuy, records management and content management systems tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, business administration or an equivalent combination of training and experience. working understanding of work health and safety policy and relevant legislation applicable to the work environment.
