Job Description FACULTY OF ARTS AND SOCIAL SCIENCES ACADEMY OF GEOGRAPHY, SOCIOLOGY AND INTERNATIONAL STUDIES Senior Research Assistant / Research Assistant (25260191) The Academy is calling for applications for the position of a Senior Research Assistant or a Research Assistant for a research project on Digital Labor in Urban Chinese Families.  Responsibilities: Work with the Principal Investigator in data collection and data analysis for the project; Conduct information and literature search for the Principal Investigator; Arrange and assist the Principla Investigator in field work in mainland China;  Coordinate with internal and external parties for the project; and Take up some administrative duties when necessary.  Requirements: A bachelor’s degree or above in Sociology or related Social Science disciplines; applicant with a master’s degree in Sociology or related Social Science displines and fieldwork experiences in mainland China will be advantages; Knowledge and experiences of doing qualitative interviews and field observations; A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, conversational Mandrine; and Responsible, independent, and detail oriented. About the Role We are seeking an exceptional Senior Research Fellow in Sustainable Materials to lead and expand a high-impact research programme within SRI. This strategic appointment will strengthen our rapidly growing research portfolio and reinforce the development of the newly launched London Sustainable Materials Lab (LSML),  a cross-disciplinary hub connecting researchers, practitioners, and industry partners to drive innovation in sustainable materials science. Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in Psychiatry or a relevant field. Specialty certification in Psychiatry (Board Certification or equivalent) and relevant clinical experience. Eligibility for full, unrestricted medical licensure in Greece, permitting independent practice of Psychiatry. Proven record of undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching relevant to the subject area. Research portfolio and publication record commensurate with the rank sought. Excellent command of Greek and English. Key Responsibilities Develop, deliver, and regularly update content relevant to their specialty across the curriculum of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme, from pre-clinical courses to clinical rotations, as well as in postgraduate programmes. The successful candidate will be expected to engage students through innovative teaching methods, fostering critical thinking, clinical reasoning, professional values and ethical practice. Provide clinical education leadership, overseeing curriculum design and delivery, student assessment and continuous quality improvement, and provide mentorship to junior members of the clinical education team. Provide mentorship and guidance to students, including advising on research projects, theses, and career development. Conduct high-impact research in Psychiatry, securing external funding to establish and sustain these programmes. Disseminate findings through peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences. Serve on Departmental and School committees and assist with strategic planning and development. Advance the School’s mission by leading community outreach initiatives, holding leadership roles in relevant professional societies, and building strategic partnerships with healthcare and regulatory organisations.
