About You With a strong user experience background, your previous experience includes leading or working within large-scale digital ecosystems and web platforms, including responsibility for the design, structure, performance and continuous improvement of complex websites, preferably within a higher education or similarly complex environment. You have developed a mentor mindset from supervising and guiding multidisciplinary digital teams, including UX specialists, designers, developers and content practitioners, including allocation of work and delivery oversight, and possess exemplary communication, stakeholder engagement and service leadership skills within a complex organisation. Department of Psychological Medicine | Te Tari Whakaora Hinengaro Tangata Faculty of Medicine - Dunedin | Te Kaupeka Whaiora and Health New Zealand / Te Whatu Ora - Southern (Health New Zealand - Southern) In pursuit of excellence, the Faculty of Medicine - Dunedin, in association with Health New Zealand - Southern, seeks to appoint a Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Psychological Medicine. The position provides an excellent opportunity for a clinical academic to establish themselves in one of the leading medical schools in Australasia. The appointee will provide leadership in teaching and research in the field of psychological medicine while supporting an effective and efficient inpatient and outpatient service for psychiatry patients in the Otago and Southland regions. There are research opportunities for wider collaboration with other researchers in the University’s well-regarded medical and medical science departments such as the Departments of Anatomy, Pathology and Public Health. In addition to holding the position of Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor at the University of Otago, the appointee will concurrently hold a position as Consultant Psychiatrist at Health New Zealand - Southern. This is a joint University/Hospital position and will be held as a single contract with the University of Otago. The two separate roles equal the equivalent of one full-time position. Academic Component (0.5 FTE) The successful applicant will be based in the Department of Psychological Medicine, Faculty of Medicine - Dunedin, and appointed to the position of Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor dependent on academic achievement, skills, and experience. The appointee will have academic qualifications and prior experience in teaching and research and will be responsible for teaching at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. There will be significant opportunity for laboratory and clinically based research. Clinical Component (0.5 FTE) Health New Zealand - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions, providing services to 350,000 people in diverse communities. The successful applicant will participate in a shared roster and an after-hours on-call roster; clinical duties and patient care will form 50% of weekly duties. Alongside an enthusiastic group of colleagues, the appointee will provide support for the outpatient psychiatry clinics. We are seeking a talented and motivated Research Fellow to join our Experimental Fluid Mechanics team!  You will work under the supervision of Prof. Bharathram Ganapathisubramani, collaborating with PhD students and other postdoctoral researchers within the group.  Key responsibilities include: Carry our measurements of turbulent flows under realistic conditions (effects of roughness, pressure gradient, surface textures etc) Develop relevant new diagnostic techniques to access new aspects of the flow Analyse data and develop new data-driven models that can be used for predictions Publish and present findings in relevant journals/conferences.  You should hold a PhD (or equivalent experience) in Aerodynamics or Fluid Mechanics.
