The program recognises the importance of retaining strong ties to professional practice to make sure that the educational offering is up-to-date in a profession that is rapidly changing. Your key responsibilities will be to: make independent, original and innovative contributions to research and education that expand knowledge or practice in the discipline coordinate and develop curricula and programs within the School/Faculty (e.g. coordination of a large award program or a number of smaller award programs) About you A proven track record of original, high-quality and independent practice within the field of Architecture Broad experience in teaching and learning at the university level, especially in architectural design studios Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and evaluating cutting-edge teaching and learning initiatives that inform curriculum design and development A collegial approach and willingness to contribute to mentoring others, academic governance, engagement, and administration A developing network of relationships with key academic, industry, and professional institutions, partners, and stakeholders. The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers B.Eng., M.Sc., M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree programmes. The University of Hong Kong has a highly ranked engineering school and an active Mechanical Engineering Programme. The Department employs about 35 full-time faculty members and has well-equipped teaching and research facilities and support. The research environment is vibrant. Advanced microelectronics plays a critical role in driving innovation and technological advancements across various industries and is the foundation of today’s interconnected world. We are particularly interested in candidates who have expertise in advanced micro/nanofabrication processes, such as nanolithography, advanced thin film deposition and etching, etc.; 3D integrated circuits, such as heterogeneous integration, high-density interconnects, wafer bonding, thermal management, etc.; advanced packaging technologies, such as system-in-package, flip-chip packaging, etc. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in a related engineering field, with an excellent research record. You will shape secure, analysis-ready datasets that underpin evidence-based treatment decisions and global practice guidelines. What you will deliver: Develop and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries across all SNAP electronic data capture systems. Prepare, clean and transform trial datasets for interim and final analyses, ensuring integrity and reproducibility. Oversee data corrections and access requests, providing well-documented datasets for internal and external collaborators. Liaise with unblinded statisticians, trial managers and committees to support timely, compliant analyses and reporting. Implement data management processes that meet GCP, privacy and quality assurance requirements. You may be a great fit if you: Hold a degree in epidemiology, biomedical or health science, data management or related public health discipline. Demonstrate experience querying, extracting and manipulating clinical trial data, including producing robust data documentation. Work confidently with clinical trial EDC platforms such as REDCap or similar systems. Use analysis tools such as R, Stata, Python or SAS, ideally alongside SQL-based data management. Apply knowledge of ethics, confidentiality, security, privacy and GCP within clinical trial or health data environments.
